A co-founder of virtual restaurant business Hangry, Robin Tan is new to the F&B business. He is, however, not new to the world of tech startups and entrepreneurship. Between 2017 and 2019, he worked as the CTO of P2P lending startup Taralite. After Taralite was acquired by Lippo-affiliated mobile payment company OVO, he became a product lead within OVO’s ecosystem. In September 2019, he and Taralite co-founder Abraham Viktor, who had also joined OVO, decided to establish Hangry. Tan now handles tech and marketing for Hangry.Prior to his career at Taralite, Tan had worked as an analyst and associate for JP Morgan & Chase, based in Singapore.

Shwe Yamin Oo graduated in computer science at the University of Computer Studies in Yangon in 2007. She has also completed a business management diploma in 2013.In March 2009, she established Shwe Bon Thar computer training center and became the COO and co-founder of its internet center and mart until 2013. In 2014, she founded an accounting tech startup Modern Boss mobile POS for local SMEs. She exited the fintech in 2017 to set up RecyGlo as CEO.In 2019, she was nominated for the Women of the Future awards for Southeast Asia in the Science, Technology and Digital categories. She is also a mentor at Yangon’s Founder Institute.

Jennifer O'Brien qualified as a financial advisor at University College Dublin in 2010. She started her banking career in 2007 at AIB where she spent six years working with SMEs and investments. In 2013, she joined KBC Bank Ireland as a restructures executive and went on to work as an asset manager at Link Asset Services in 2016. O’Brien also worked in asset management for two years at O’Dwyer Real Estate Management while completing an MBA at Trinity College Dublin. She left the realty company in 2019 to realize her dream to create alt-protein seafood using locally sourced seaweed.

Petri Alava has over 15 years of industry experience in logistics, publishing and waste management. In 1989, he completed a master’s in industrial engineering and started his management career at Finncont Oy, a subsidiary of GWS Group. He went on to work at Rocla Oy in 2001 as managing director of the Rocla Robotruck Group with manufacturing units in Finland and Sweden. He also held senior management roles at Vapo Oy and Kekkilä Oy.In 2015, he became the managing partner of Profon Oy and also co-founded cleantech materials startup Infinited Fiber as CEO. Based in Helsinki, he is also currently chairman of various companies, as well as the CEO of Solid Environmental Technologies.

Raúl Aragonés Ortiz is AEInnova’s chairman, former CEO, principal founder and originator of the idea behind the company. He is currently AEInnova's business development manager and holds a PhD in Microelectronics. He is also a professor at the IESE Business School and Salesians School Sarrià in Barcelona. Before founding AEInnova, Aragonés was an R&D investigator in chip systems, ASIC design, energy harvesting and smart cities at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds memberships in the Astronomical Association of Terrassa and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Since 2018, he has also been a business advisor to the startup Happy Customer Box.

Jose María Gómez Marquez started his business career as CEO at Roder Spain from 1986–1994, manufacturing materials used in Expo 1992 in Seville. From 1998–2005, Gómez worked in business development for Climocubierta indoor swimming pool materials company in Seville. Since 1998, Gómez has also been running F1/MotoGP equipment supply company AMG Services as CEO and founder.He completed a master’s in business management in 2006 at San Telmo International Institute in Seville and became the managing partner of Seville-based engineering design company Arquingenia.In 2015, he co-founded Spanish mobility startup Scoobic Urban Mobility and became the CEO of the country’s first three-wheeled EV last-mile delivery logistics provider. He is also CEO of Passion Motorbike Factory.Between 2011 and 2015, Gómez was a director at Morocco-based EURoma Network, a transnational EU organization contributing to the promotion of social inclusion, equal opportunities and the fight against discrimination of the Roma community.

Sky Kurtz graduated in finance at Arizona State University in 2004. He also completed a master’s in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011.He started his corporate career in New York at Lehman Brothers where he worked as an analyst from 2004–2006. He went on to work at CCMP Capital as an associate for three years until 2009. After various board member roles in US, he became the VP of Francisco Partners in 2011, a global private equity firm based in San Francisco.In 2014, he became the CEO of Mateen Corporation that manufactures high-performance fiber-reinforced polymers in the UAE and New Zealand. In 2016, he co-founded Vence Corp, a virtual fencing device manufacturer for livestock management. Currently based in UAE, Kurtz also founded Pure Harvest Smart Farms in Abu Dhabi. He is the CEO of the Middle East’s first commercial-scale, semi-automated, hybrid greenhouse growing system. Kurtz is also an advisor at e-commerce beauty startup Powder.ae and an entrepreneur-in-residence at Shorooq Investments.

João Igor graduated with a degree in Communication, Design and Media Studies from the School of Education of Coimbra (ESEC) in 2008. The digital marketer worked for four years at Imagemplus until 2012, when he co-founded mobile software development firm CoolApps, together with CoolFarm co-founders Liliana Marques and Eduardo Esteves. In July 2014, he co-founded indoor farming agtech CoolFarm and worked as marketing and communications manager until June 2018. He was communications manager at relocation startup Moviinn for one year until 2015. Currently based in Lisbon, he now a marketing communications specialist with London's HR recruitment firm Transformify.

Alejandro Artacho Amichis has degrees in Business Administration and Law from Spanish universities and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).He studied in China on an exchange program and got a grant from the Chinese government to learn Mandarin at UIBE in Beijing in 2010. He returned to Spain and started Abendium in 2011, an import and export business between Spain and China. He also established travel agency Aledasia in 2012 to market luxury trips to rich Chinese tourists. The Spotahome idea was resurrected by Artacho in 2014 after working in a property company in London.

Yan co-founded childcare website ci123.com in <YEAR> when he was just 24. In 2005 he became its COO.  In 2006, he co-founded online travel site Tuniu with Yu Dunde, a friend from university, and worked as Tuniu's COO. In 2014, Tuniu was listed on NASDAQ and three years later was ranked first in market share among similar sites in China. In the third quarter of 2017,  Yan resigned from Tuniu after the company announced that it had made a profit for the first time. In November 2017, he co-founded Blackfish Technology and became its CEO.    

Co-founder of VUE Vlog, Yang Tao majored in Computer Science in Peking University. After a period of internship in Microsoft, he joined NetEase in 2009. However, in NetEase, the products that he was in charge of were marginalized. In 2011, he joined Wandoujia where he was first put in a cloud system project, then became the key developer of Wandoujia App Search and the Photo Sync Project. In 2014, he was promoted to be an engineer manager. He joined VUE as co-founder in 2016. 

Ryan Haryadi went to Diablo Valley College in the US and Indiana University, Bloomington, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Informatics. In 2010, he returned to Indonesia, where he briefly joined ORIX Indonesia Finance as an account manager till the end of 2011. In 2012, he joined online travel aggregator Pegipegi, which is now owned by Traveloka. In 2013, Haryadi moved on and joined Bachtiar Rifai at digital marketing consultancy WireHub. The duo continued on to establish digital marketing automation service firm Kofera Technology, and, subsequently, spun off a second company, Volantis Technology.

Trained in mass communications and media studies, Andreas Resha has held marketing and analyst roles in various industries. After graduating from Universitas Pelita Harapan, Indonesia, in 2009, Resha worked as an analyst for insurance company AIA, handling the bancassurance and direct telemarketing sections. He worked at AIA until 2015, leaving his position at the company’s Strategic Initiative Office to briefly work as CFO at a specialty coffee store in Bali. In 2016, he joined accounting software startup Jurnal as CFO for a year, and occupied the same role in financial products comparison website Cermati until early 2019. He then joined payments company OVO, where he met Abraham Viktor and Robin Tan. The three would work together to start their own F&B business, Hangry.
