Diana Almeida is an alumnus of the University of Porto in Networks and Information Systems and holds a postgraduate degree from the Porto Business School in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Her education culminated in her co-founding the company Movvo, for an analytical software used in the retail industry. Almeida also holds the position of university professor at the Instituto Universitário da Maia ISMAI in the fields of Software Engineering and Data Mining.

Inspired by his own weight loss experience, former business consultant William Susilo founded the Gorry Holdings group of health and wellness startups: GorryGourmet, GorryWell and Helopt. Before becoming an entrepreneur, William worked for Accenture and Sinar Mas Land between 2012 and 2016, while also spending time at CT Corp, the holding company of a major Indonesian conglomerate. William graduated with a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Indonesia.

Marshall Pribadi is the founder and CEO of digital signature startup PrivyID, the first of its kind in Indonesia. In 2014, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Law from Universitas Indonesia. Between 2012 and 2015, he worked at PT Buana Media Teknologi, the digital payments and voucher company that operates GudangVoucher.com. Marshall had been developing the business idea for PrivyID and pitching to investors since 2014, eventually establishing the company in 2016.

Liu Kun holds a master’s in Automatic Control Science and Engineering from the School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology. Before founding Shenzhen Qianhai HomeRun Technology Co Ltd in 2015, he had worked for 11 years in R&D for analytical instruments for medical and industrial purposes. Previous employers included Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation, Mindray Medical International Co Ltd and German-based process equipment and processing technology provider IKA.

An industrial engineer by training, Rubén Blanco Carrera comes from a family of ranchers in Cabañas, 18 km from Ávila, Spain. Currently he is Commercial Director and co-founder of IoT startup SensoWave, as well as its brand Digitanimal, aimed at remote farming. The business idea of Digitanimal partly came about because of Blanco’s personal experience with his own livestock. Using IoT remote tracking, detecting heat and parturition through the use of sensors , which are analyzed to reflect the behavior of the cattle and notify alert ranchers to the anomalies detected, he was able to save a mother and calf from a difficult delivery. In another incident, the technology helped alert him to the attack of wolves. Blanco holds both a first degree and a master's degree from Madrid's Alfonso X El Sabio University, the former in Technical Engineering in Industrial and Product Design and the latter in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Electronics. He then worked as an industrial engineer at both private company Retailgas and at Alfa Imaging, the startup co-founded by Carlos Callejero, with whom Blanco later co-founded SensoWave.

Daniel Rico Aldaz is the Spanish COO and co-founder at 3D printing food tech and cell-based meat startup Cocuus, where he has worked since he co-founded it in 2017. Before Cocuus, Rico founded an industrial design company, Rico Ingenio, which was established in 2009, where he continues to be a founding partner.His last full-time position before Cocuus was at systems automation company Kaizen for less than a year, where he headed up the technical office. Prior to that, Rico briefly led the computer-to-plate (CTP) and quality control departments at printers Estellaprint. For 15 years, until 2016, Rico was founder at his own industrial design company El Seis Y El Cuatro.Rico’s varied career has also seen him as head designer of children's parks and gyms at Mader Play, as an IT teacher at a worker’s foundation and as both a graphic and an artistic designer in two communication agencies and a lighting company. During his career,  Rico has had experience with design and manufacturing in 3D processes, which he used to innovate in Cocuus.  Rico did not attend university. He studied music and design at high school.

Established in 2003, JW Medical Systems (JWMS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of high-end medical consumables manufacturer Bluesail. It’s an international company focusing on the R&D, manufacturing and marketing of high-tech interventional products. JWMS has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Xi'an.
