The first Chinese rehabilitation robotics company to have its robots used for clinical and research purposes in major rehabilitation hospitals and institutions worldwide.

Syauqy Nurul Aziz graduated in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia in 2014. Prior to graduating, he had joined UGM’s aerospace competition team and co-founded a game development studio. After graduation, he worked as a programmer at mobile app developer Amagine Interactive for a year.  Syauqy also joined fellow UGM graduates to establish Atnic. He left Amagine in 2015 to focus on Atnic projects, including their leading product Jala.

An experienced entrepreneur in internet business, Wen Chu founded the online community for media professionals No4media.com in 2001, the Guangzhou-based Click.com.cn in 2003, and the mobile entertainment website Moabc.com in 2005. Click.com.cn was acquired by the NASDAQ-listed company PACT in 2004. In March 2008, he founded the Great Wall Club (GWC), a communication platform for entrepreneurs and startups that has initiated and organized events such as the annual Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) since 2008 and the startup competition G-Startup Worldwide. He currently is the president and CEO of GWC. He invested Xpeng Motors as an angel investor in 2014.

Armed with Asian and European experience, Miguel Amaro co-founded Uniplaces in 2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nottingham, and took a course in Chinese Studies at East China Normal University. He obtained his master’s in Management, with a concentration in Global Entrepreneurship, from Babson Graduate School. Amaro also spent two months as an analyst at Grameen Bank in Dhaka, Bangladesh. While developing Uniplaces, he was an entrepreneur-in-residence at Picvic Labs (France), Zhejiang University Innovation Institute (China) and Osram (United States). Amaro is currently part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers. As an investor, to date, he has only invested in Portuguese healthy food service EatTasty and part funding the company's angel, pre-seed and seed rounds, with undisclosed investments. 

European venture capital firm Advent Venture Partners was established in 1981.

Caballero is serial entrepreneur dedicated to purpose-driven entrepreneurship harnessing technology to support social initiatives. He was Head of New Media in Doctors Without Borders, has held senior level positions in multinational companies and co-founded tech startups in the field of social intelligence and analytic platforms.In 2013, he founded The Social Coin, an NGO for social movement and game-changing technology rewarding people for socially responsible acts. In 2018, the company launched Citibeats, a social intelligence platform deploying NLP and machine-learning to analyze online speech and convert it into relevant insights that governments, cities and companies can use to provide immediate response to social needs.

New Ventures has over the past decade focused on growing and catalyzing social and environmental entrepreneurs. They build an ecosystem through financing, acceleration, and promotion. In doing so, they pave the way for enterprises that are not only profitable but have a positive impact on social and environmental issues.

Established in 2015, Berlin-based Join Capital focuses on early-stage European startups.

Armed with a master’s in Business Administration and Computer Science from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, João Romão is looking to change the way companies and audiences interact with social media and social networks. His experience includes consulting stints around Portugal at AIESEC and Novabase Consulting and as the CEO of Wishareit, a Lisbon-based social shopping platform. In 2013, Romão founded GetSocial, a social analytics and content automation platform that helps marketers and publishers measure, promote and amplify their best work.

Capital V is a French rural-based investor that only invests in solutions that facilitate sustained behavioral change and eliminate the consumption of animal products. Its investments range from €10,000 to €1m and currently has 20 startups in its portfolio, mainly plant-based meat makers.In 2020, it announced its participation in Pitch & Plant 2020, the global investment competition by Vevolution for plant-based and animal-free startups, offering £100,000 to finalists. Among its recent investments are participation in the extended 2020 seed round of THIS, a UK-based plant-based meat startup that has raised over £6m to date and, in August 2020, in vegan confectionary manufacturer, Livia’s that has raised over £1m so far.

Arif Setiawan is an experienced web and mobile app developer who loves competition. He still runs Futsalholic.com that he co-founded in 2013 while in Bandung, prior to joining Limakilo as the CTO in November 2015. Arif is Limakilo’s Backend and API developer and also its Frontend Web developer.He also works on other projects at Rakki Studio as a web developer. An alumni of the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Arif gained a master’s in Informatics (Media Technology and Mobile Apps) in 2016.

Software engineer Filipe Gonçalves has held positions at Wipro Technologies and the European Space Agency, where he was a software engineer, then technical consultant. Gonçalves, who holds a master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Porto, co-founded Jumpseller.

Juan Monzón Fabregat is a Spanish entrepreneur, angel investor and marketer. He is the co-founder of tech innovation company Meraki Codes and Exovite, where he is CEO. For three years, Monzón helmed Health Valencia 2.0, an organization which seeks to bring technological innovation to the health sector. He has completed courses at the Sloan School of Management and Singularity University. 

Fransiska Hadiwidjana is a young technopreneur and coder. The graduate in Informatics Engineering is a co-founder of AugMI Labs in USA that won the Thomson Reuters Data Prize at the MIT US$100K Entrepreneurship Competition in 2013. Fransiska had also worked as an IT intern at Microsoft and the Office of the President of Indonesia. She also participated at a Silicon Valley think tank at the Singularity University before graduating from the Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2012. She went on to establish Prelo, an online marketplace for secondhand goods in 2015.

Ship2B is an accelerator and investor for social impact startups and spin-offs. It acts principally in three sectors: health tech, social tech for vulnerable groups and climate technology. It also fosters networking alliances between startups and large companies, and has a network of high-level mentors available to assist startups.To date, Ship2B has invested €40m in 146 startups and spin-offs.
