RMKB Ventures is a hands-on venture firm investing in seed stage digital companies in Indonesia. Managing partner Kevin Sutantyo is a veteran entrepreneur in the US and in Indonesia. He recently became a venture partner at Sovereign’s Capital, also an investor in Printerous. 

A government-backed firm, Portugal Ventures is the country's most active VC. It invests exclusively in Portugal-based or initiated startups. There are currently over 100 companies in its portfolio, predominantly from the engineering, tourism, manufacturing and life sciences sectors. Established in 2012, Portugal Ventures focuses on MVP-ready projects and invests from €300,000 to €1.5m in the projects it selects for funding. The firm has managed eight exits to date. It most recently invested in the €1m seed round of conversational games developer Doppio Games and in the €2m seed round of remote access security company Fyde.

Easo Ventures is a Spanish early-stage VC established in 2018 in the Basque city of San Sebastian, offering selected companies either €50,000 or €100,000 according to their development stage. It currently has 29 companies in its portfolio across verticals and technologies, but all must be based in Spain. Its most recent investments include the €2m seed round of medtech IOMED Medical Solutions, which converts medical text into extractable data, and the €1.2m post-seed round of drone company Alerion. 

Genesia Ventures is a Japanese VC firm founded and led by former CyberAgent Ventures executive Soichi Tajima. The company's name is a portmanteau word combining "genesis" and "Asia" and the fund focuses on seed and pre-Series A rounds. It has backed startups in new media and those implementing new technology to traditional sectors. Its portfolio includes Japanese companies Sukedachi and Linc Corporation as well as Southeast Asian startups Homedy and Bobobox.

Founded in 1996. With over US$3 billion under management, DCM Ventures has invested more than 280 tech companies in the US and Asia. They focus on seed, early and mid-stage companies in the mobile, consumer internet, software and services sectors. They are behind the A-Fund, which is the world’s first Android-focused VC fund.

The VC arm of one of Japan's largest internet and media companies, CyberAgent Ventures specializes in the Internet-related industry. It invests in startups at various stages from the seed stage. CyberAgent has 10 offices in 8 countries mainly in Asia, including Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Toro Ventures is a VC fund based in Monterrey, Mexico, with offices in San Francisco. Led by entrepreneurs Elsa Treviño and Tuto Assad, the fund helps tech startups raise seed capital as well as build a network of family offices and business angels interested in investment opportunities in the Latin American tech ecosystem.Toro Ventures also supports big companies looking to innovate by connecting them with startups from relevant industry verticals. In December 2018, it made its biggest investment to date: €2 million in Spain's BEWE. Established in December 2016, the company has invested in nine startups, to date. 

Founded in 2009, Finnish VC Lifeline Ventures has invested in over 100 early-stage startups, with investments ranging from €100,000 to €2m. Focusing mainly on local tech startups, the VC has 71 tech and non-tech companies in its portfolio.Recent investments in April 2021 include the $100m Series C round of Finnish wellness ring and app Oura Health and the $6.2m seed round of Finnish cleantech Carbo Culture. One of Lifeline’s VC partners, Timo Ahopelto, is an advisor at student-led VC Wave Ventures that also participated in the investment round of Carbo Culture.

Founded in 2015, the Porto-based Betwixt Ventures is no longer active. The venture capital fund manager and advisory firm specialized in early-stage investments in Portuguese tech startups. It invested in startups vetted by other business angels, or co-invested with other VC partners and private investors. The focus of the investments was to fill in the funding gap between seed and Series A rounds. 

GoHub Ventures is the Valencia-based corporate venture capital arm of Global Omnium, a company specialised in water management. The firm invests in the seed and scale-up phases with a ticket size between €500,000 - €3m.The comnpany has so far invested €11m until 2020 and is mostly backing deep tech startups working in AI, big data, 3D, IoT and robotics and cybersecurity sectors. 

Based in San Francisco, Slow Ventures was founded in 2011 by an early Facebook employee David Morin, who helped to build the Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect. Slow Ventures is no longer known as the “Facebook Alumni Fund”.Today, the VC is a generalist fund, investing in diverse sectors worldwide, ranging from digital health to enterprise solutions. The firm has backed unicorn startups in the US like Postmates, Nextdoor, AngelList and Evernote. A fourth fundraising round has been launched for two new funds totaling $220m: seed funding of $165m and $55m for a follow-up round. Its last funding round closed at $145m in 2016.

LC Ventures is a Lisbon-based VC specializing in pre-seed and seed investments, mainly in Portugal-based startups and with a focus on promoting regional growth. Established in 2015, it has €11.5m under management in three funds, two which are exclusive to Portuguese startups. It has invested in more than 40 companies to date. Recently it has invested in Botcliq, a blockchain e-marketplace for wild fish trading, and in Finnish cleantech company Solved. It also participated in the €2m Series A round of Portuguese online tech employment agency in March 2020.Its investment portfolio currently includes 32 tech startups, a majority of which are based in Portugal.

Billing itself as the "world's first venture builder focused on the real estate and construction sectors," Construtech Ventures is a Brazilian investor and venture builder established in 2017 in Florianópolis. To date, it has invested in 11 companies, all of them local with the exception of Portuguese Infraspeak. Its most recent investments are in Infraspeak's seed round and in real estate marketplace EmCasa's Series A round. The company also has a second office in São Paulo.

Founded in 2008, KIZOO Technology Ventures is a seed and early-stage VC. Current CEO Michael Greve, who founded Flug.de and Web.de, has many years of experience in the German-speaking Internet industry. KIZOO generally focuses on SaaS, Internet and mobile startups, although it has recently ventured into rejuvenation biotech, investing in companies such as CellAge and LysoClear.
