Co-founder and Chief Partnership Officer of HarukaEdu
Gerald Ariff, a co-founder of PT Haruka Evolusi Digital Utama since 2013, recently became the company’s Chief Partnership Officer in November 2016. After spending much of his life in the United Kingdom since 1987, the University of London electronics engineer headed home to Jakarta to work as a research associate in 2001. Gerald later earned a doctorate in Strategic Management at the University of Indonesia in 2007, before joining the Universitas Bina Nusantara Business School (Binus) as a program head in 2011. He still lectures at Binus and the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta.

An Accounting graduate from Indonesia, Novistiar Rustandi went to the US to obtain an MBA and a master’s in Information Systems Technology at the George Washington University.He worked as a manager at PwC in Washington DC for seven years before returning home in 2011 to set up Nextweb Technologies. He was also a director at a startup incubator Jakarta Founder Institute for almost five years. He became a co-founder and the CEO of PT Haruka Evolusi Digital Utama in April 2013. He also lectures at Bina Nusantara University and Surya University during his free time.

After graduating in 2003 from the Prasetiya Mulya Business School with a master’s in Management, he worked as a CFO at PT Trouw Nutrition Indonesia (Nutreco) and also at Coda Payments. He co-founded an online education services provider HarukaEdu in February 2013. He is the CFO of PT Haruka Edukasi Utama. He also runs his own business as the founder of TTT Coaching and Consulting. He had also worked as an associate lecturer at Binus Business School in 2014.

The agency’s clientele included cigarette firm Sampoerna and Adam Khoo Learning Technology. However, he exited Cactus Project in 2012 and co-founded Kreavi, a network and showcase platform for creative industry professionals. He was the CEO for almost three years before selling Kreavi to set up Qlapa in 2015.

After graduating in 2005, he worked as a cost accountant and inventory manager for almost four years at a food packaging company PT Anta Tirta Kirana. He later worked as an area sales manager at PT Indo Pangan Nusantara for another four years until May 2015 when he left to join Wedlite as a co-founder. Wedlite is now part of the bigger Taralite fintech.
