Xora Innovation is a subsidiary of the Singapore sovereign investment fund, Temasek. It was established as an early-stage deeptech investment platform that identifies startups connected with the Singapore science and technology ecosystem (although the startup can be based anywhere in the world). Xora plans to invest as a lead or co-lead in seed or Series A rounds, with later-stage investments being handled through Temasek. As of July 2021, Xora has invested in two companies based in Singapore: Allozymes, which provides enzyme engineering services, and Nuevocor, which is developing gene therapy for certain heart diseases.

In 2018, he co-founded CSC, a C2C car sharing platform using blockchain technology.

Teguh Budi Wicaksono is one of Agate's original members, having joined in 2009 as a game programmer after finishing his bachelor's at the Bandung Institute of Technology. He continued his education while working, earning his master's degree in Informatics in 2012. In 2013, he transitioned from being a programmer to being Agate's project director. In 2017, he became the company's CTO.

Olivier Clatz is the French co-founder of AI medical diagnosis company Therapixel, creator of MammoScreen breast cancer screening and diagnosis tool. Prior to co-founding Therapixel, Clatz worked for six years as a research scientist at INRIA (National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology) based at the Sophia Antipolis technology park near Antibes, in the south of France. His later work with INRIA focused on exploiting machine learning algorithms for medical imaging processing. Prior to this, he was a research associate at Harvard Medical School, in the US. In 2006, he completed his PhD at INRIA on the concept of personalized medicine. Clatz also holds a PhD in philosophy from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, and a master's degree in applied mathematics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. Currently, he works at the French Government’s Commissariat Générale pour l’Investissement managing the national program AI For Diagnostics. He left Therapixel in 2019.

He has also worked as a research director for packaging materials and cable machinery. He currently works as a research professor and lecturer at two local universities in Finland. In 2003, he joined Tampere University of Technology as a professor for fiber materials and technical textiles. In 2014, he also started lecturing at LUT University as a professor specializing in packaging and polymeric materials.Since 2005, the industrial biomaterial specialist has also been working at the Technical Research Centre of Finland VTT where he became the product R&D team leader for Infinited Fiber, a startup he co-founded in 2016 with CEO Petri Alava.
