Marçal Rossinyol is a computer scientist, associate researcher and R&D project manager in the Computer Vision Centre (CVC) in Spain, where he participated in over 20 competitive research projects at national level and also for the European Commission. Having earned his master’s degree in Optical Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, Lin received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. In May 2008, he joined NEC Labs America, where he performed research on machine learning and computer vision. In November 2015, Lin was made director of Baidu’s Institute of Deep Learning. In March 2017, he was promoted to head of Baidu Research. Six months after being promoted, Lin left Baidu to found Aibee.

Most of Mayfield’s exits took place during the 2008 financial crisis and through subsequent funds.In April 2020, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Mayfield announced two new funds which raised $750m in total. Callejero holds a first degree in physics from the University of Zaragoza, an MSc in Applied Modern Optics from Reading University (UK) and a PhD in Millimeter Waves from the same institution. These latter studies led to his work with sensors with Spain's Army Research Laboratory upon his return to Spain. He also briefly worked at telecom company Telefonica as an optical engineer.

In 2015, the St Hilda’s alumna worked as an undergraduate tutor at Oxford while completing a PhD in pathology, specializing in oncology and cancer biology.In 2018, she worked on a rare cancer project as EIT Health Business Innovation fellow for a year.
