Javier Moya Maier is the Spanish co-founder and CFO of Sea Water Analytics, a tourism-focused data aggregator with user app to measure seawater quality. The technology has been in development since 2017, though the company was formally launched in Madrid in April 2020. Moya previously spent more than a decade working as an industrial engineer, especially in the area of project management in different Madrid-based companies.Moya has worked at insurance company Prosegur, at travel management company Flightcare, and at engineering firms MOMO and Essentium Group. He holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Madrid's Pontificia Comillas University and has completed a course in Lean Manufacturing. 

After starting his career in Indonesian automotive conglomerate Astra, businessman Kiwi Aliwarga left the country in 1998 to establish United Machinery in Myanmar with business partner Daw Marlar Win. The United Machinery Group (UMG) is now one of Myanmar's biggest conglomerates. Its original core business, ranging from distribution of generators and other heavy machinery, has been transformed and expanded to include media, leisure and F&B.The venture capital arm UMG Idealab seeks and supports innovative business ideas from the region to bring back to Myanmar. Through UMG Idealab, Aliwarga is exploring various new technologies including passenger-carrying drone taxis. He recently co-founded FROGS in Indonesia with former aircraft engineer Asro Nasiri.

Eulàlia Sánchez is co-founder and Chief Science Officer at medtech startup Biel Glasses, which pioneered a solution that lets people with low vision lead independent lives. She is also a professor of Optics and Optometry and an expert optometrist at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), where she has worked for the last 30 years. She is also coordinator at the Low Vision Research Unit at the university's Vision Center. She holds a master's in Optometry and Vision Sciences from UPC. 

José Enrique Díaz Buzón graduated in law at the University of Seville in 1999. He has a qualification in EU law, and a master’s in business consultancy. In 2005, he also studied labor relations at IE Business School in Madrid.In 1999, Díaz began practicing as a lawyer, specializing in commercial and corporate law and business consultancy. In 2016, he became the CFO, business development manager and co-founder of Scoobic Urban Mobility. The Spanish mobility startup and the co-founding team’s Passion Motorbike Factory aim to provide three-wheeled EVs and sustainable last-mile delivery solutions.

Gemilang Dana Sentosa is an entity formed by shareholders of DOKU, one of Indonesia’s pioneering e-wallet services. Its most notable investment is in Bareksa, an online investment portal.

Before joining Blackfish as co-founder and CMO in 2017, Chen was CMO and one of the key founding members of NASDAQ-listed online travel site Tuniu, where was responsible for branding, marketing and PR. 

Ben Morton is an Australian entrepreneur and a chemical engineer by training. While serving in the Royal Australian Infantry, he attended Flinders University, pursuing a double honours degree in physics and organic chemistry. After graduating in 2013, Morton briefly worked as a chemist at fertilizer company SprayGro. In 2016, he enrolled at the University of Adelaide to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering. There, he joined Philip Kwong’s research group and met fellow PhD student Lewis Dunnigan. Using technology they developed at the research group, in 2017 Morton, and Dunnigan established Bygen, a startup offering a low-cost, novel way process of making activated carbon using various forms of agricultural waste, with Kwong as a technical adviser and fellow co-founder. Morton is now CTO of Bygen.

Rizki Akmanda is a web developer and digital marketing consultant who founded SIMAK, an online school information and communication platform. It can be used by all players in the education sector, including students, teachers, principals and parents. Akmanda is now the CEO of SIMAK. He also founded the (now defunct) web development companies Zloob and Themes Awesome.

Santoso is the CEO and co-founder of the Indonesian crowdfunding-for-musicians website Kolase. Santoso began working in the music industry in 2014, and, along with Kolase co-founder Raden Maulana, began a music distribution (compact disc) channel that partnered with Indonesian express logistics courier services company PT Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE ). 

Zhang Yongqi was the first in China to sell books and training programs for IELTS (International English Language Testing System), the world’s most popular English language test. He went on to set up Global Education & Technology Group, which ran 450 IELTS centers in 60 cities and listed on Nasdaq. Zhang sold the company in 2011 to the Pearson Group for US$294 million. The former Honeywell agent is now highly influential in education and training. He is a member of the Beijing Democratic League.

Arifin Asydhad, a graduate from the University of Padjajaran, is a self-professed workaholic. Hailing from Bogor, Arifin is known to often work until 9 pm as a journalist. As the former director and editor in chief of Detikcom for almost 17 years, he has accompanied Indonesian government officials on visits to China and Brazil. However, Arifin left Detikcom in September 2016 to help ex-Detikcom seniors and colleagues to establish Kumparan in November.

Software engineer-turned-banker Dipo Satria worked at the Jakarta offices of international banks ABN AMRO and Macquarie for almost eight years, before taking a break in 2009 to pursue an MBA at Instituto de Empresa, Spain.He left Macquarie in December 2013, joining forest conservation company Jaga Rimba as a director of Finance and Business Development. The following year, he established DanaDidik, a crowdfunding platform that disburses student loans.

Founder and CEO of GiftTalk, a Chinese gift-giving platform. Wen, a friend of Chen Anni, helped her found Kuaikan (formerly Kuaikan Comic) as an angel investor.  

Ivan Nikolas Tambunan is a lawyer-turned-entrepreneur who co-founded the P2P lending site Akseleran. After graduating from Universitas Indonesia in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Law, Ivan worked as an associate at AFS Partnership, handling various corporate law cases in civil and criminal courts. He left in 2011 for a short stint at the Makarim & Taira S law firm. In 2012, he joined Allen & Overy as a transactional banking lawyer. Before he left Allen & Overy in 2017, he advised various clients, including the Artha Graha Group and Macquarie. He and his co-founders started developing Akseleran in 2016 and launched an early version in March 2017.Ivan earned a Master's degree in Law & Finance from Queen Mary University of London. His thesis was on the topic of crowdfunding and became part of the inspiration behind establishing Akseleran.
