Yu Xin majored in Information Management at Peking University.

Peng Bin graduated at Xidian University in Xi’an with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2004. After working at Microsoft China as an engineer for two years, the aeromodelling enthusiast started XAIRCRAFT in 2007 when he was 25 years old. The startup was renamed as XAG in 2014, with Peng as CEO. In 2020, Peng made it onto the Forbes China “40 Under 40” list.

One of Baidu's first AI hire in the US, James Peng (Peng Jun) had worked at Google for seven years, specializing in back-end and front-end advertising systems. The Tsinghua University graduate with an MS from the University of Buffalo and PhD in engineering from Stanford University was invited by Wang Jing, senior vice president of Baidu, to start Baidu Research US. In 2015, he was promoted to Baidu's Chief Architect in charge of R&D of autonomous driving. At the end of 2016, Peng left Baidu and co-founded with another ex-Baidu employee, the coding whiz, Lou Tiancheng. 

Founded in 2015, Xin Ding Capital makes equity, pre-IPO and overseas investments. It also provides consultation services to startups in the biomedicine, new energy vehicle, chip and semiconductor manufacturing and artificial intelligence sectors that want to get listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, a Chinese over-the-counter system for trading shares of public limited companies. As of May 2018, Xin Ding Capital has invested nearly RMB 2 billion in over 30 projects.

Li Xin had worked as the general manager of marketing at news portal NetEase before co-founding Fenbi, the predecessor of Yuanfudao, in April 2014. He is now the VP of Yuanfudao.

A former Alibaba and Dianping top executive, Lu Xin (b. 1981) is a mother of two. She headed Chinese product operations at Alibaba before joining China’s largest restaurant review site Dianping as its chief traffic officer in early 2010. In January 2015, she quit and left behind her annual million-dollar salary to start Nanguache, her second business venture.

Peng Yao has a master’s in Electronic and Information Engineering from Tsinghua University. He was an industry researcher at Taikang Asset, an investment manager at SDIC Fund Management and Vangoo Capital Partners. He has investment experience in diverse industry sectors like healthcare, TMT and advanced equipment manufacturing.

Avid traveler and entrepreneur Peng Tao holds a telecommunications degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a PhD from the University of Melbourne. He has visited over 40 countries and was a former consultant at McKinsey, as well as the founder of two failed startups.

Founded in 2015 by former vice president of Tencent and GM of Tencent M&A, Richard Peng (Peng Zhijian), and former vice GM of Tencent M&A, Kurt Xu, Genesis Capital specializes in growth stage investment of internet startups in China and the US.

Shen Peng had first tried founding a startup while studying finance at Beijing's Central University of Finance and Economics from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, he joined Meituan – now known as Meituan Dianping – as its tenth employee. At the age of 23, he was in charge of Meituan's group buying business in north China. Shen was also a key player when Meituan expanded into the food delivery business. He received his master's degree in retail management from the Neoma Business School through a partnership with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. He founded Waterdrop in 2016 and has served as its CEO since.

Gary Kun (Kun Peng) received a bachelor's degree in Finance from Hong Kong Baptist University School of Business in 2014 and a master's degree in Financial Management from Johns Hopkins University in 2015. He founded BOUNDLESSX in May 2016 to produce short VR films and three of them were screened at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. He founded AltStory in October 2017. 

Holding an MBA from Lancaster University, UK, Yang co-founded Dana+ with Ren Xinxin and Lv Xin in 2015. He’s also a partner of Lidafeng Investment, and of Ming Capital, an investment management company co-founded by popular Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming.

Zeng Zhujuan graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Business, Organization, and Society. She earned her MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a master's degree in Design Leadership from the Maryland Institute College of Art, both in 2015. She co-founded AltStory with Gary Kun (Kun Peng) in 2017. 

Formerly headed Star CV, a Chinese celebrity venture capital institution.

Co-founder, CMO and Financial Director of Shenma. Yan was once Director of Operations at AiMa (an e-bike company). A marketing specialist, he has more than ten years’ experience running retail shops for multiple companies.
