He was based in Palo Alto, California for more than seven years and was a director of Investment Analysis and Strategy at a leading venture debt provider Hercules Technology Growth Capital.Armed with a bachelor’s in Mathematics of Computation from UCLA in 2002 and a master’s in Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics from Stanford University in 2004, Arip found it frustrating to find a property in Indonesia, so he started UrbanIndo.

Samuel Martins is an experienced software developer and founder of motorbike dealership LxMotos. He was a systems administrator at his alma mater Superior Technical Institute in Lisbon before joining IT consulting firm Crazydog in 2008 as a systems administrator and developer.In 2012, Martins and Crazydog founder Gonçalo Fortes began creating AI-powered software to improve the efficiency and productivity of local factories. Computer Data Communications graduate from Malaysia Zac Cheah is an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master’s in Computing from Sweden’s KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a master’s in Security and Mobile Computing from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.After his master’s graduation in 2008, Zac joined Opera Software AS in Norway and Opera Oupeng in China. He left Opera in 2013 to co-found Cross platform HTML5 games developer Wozlla in China. In 2016, Zac moved to Indonesia and co-founded payments app Pundi-Pundi. With a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Frank Lin has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in medtech and aerospace. Before founding CH Biomedical in 2008, he was the principal staff engineer at Kriton Medical, the predecessor of HeartWare International (now Medtronic), leading the computational fluid dynamic design of its Heartware Ventricular Assist Device (HVAD) system.
