Co-founder, Chairperson and COO of Trio.AI. A ten-year veteran of marketing and business development, Ma has worked for several internationally renowned companies, including Viacom, Ogilvy China and Amway China.

Before co-founding Luoji Siwei with Luo Zhenyu, Li was a regular contributor to several established Chinese business magazines and news outlets, including CEO & CIO, Global Business and Huxiu.com. She has served as a guest lecturer for Tsinghua University’s CEO class and for the New Entrepreneur Development Program, an executive continuing education program run by the State Council Development Research Center and Stanford University. Li is the founding partner of the China Soft Power Research Center, a Chinese corporate services and management consulting firm. She hosts a radio show called Li Tiantian Morning Observations on China National Radio.

After graduating from Tsinghua University and the University of Pennsylvania, Zhou Jiaxiang has been working in the development of the verticals of high-capacity computing and cloud storage research. He led the product development of the email system during his years at AOL.In 2011, Zhou built the Cloud Computing Research Center for Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. The center has processed more than 863 national cloud storage projects through its enterprise services. Zhou has published multiple papers on renowned publications and has obtained four American patents and three authorized software rights. 

Lucas Llobet Cusí is the Spanish born CTO and co-founder of Evix Safety, designers of an algorithm controlled airbag for cycling helmets, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to June 2019, he was also working simultaneously at a local electrical startup Sumcab Special Cablegroup, where he was Deputy Head of Product and Development. He has also worked in engineering product design at  Mecatecno. Llobet holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. He speaks four languages and is a keen cyclist and rower. 

Edwin Widjonarko spent almost 6 years working as a research assistant at the USA’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and at University of Colorado Boulder. In some of the projects he worked on, Widjonarko contributed to the development of new generation solar panels. In 2015, he left the research sphere to join Intel Corporation as a technology development process engineer. He stayed on until 2018, when he left Intel and returned to Indonesia to establish Xurya, a solar power company. Working with longtime friend Gusmantara Himawan and former East Ventures associate Philip Effendy, Widjonarko now works as Xurya’s director of technology.

Alta Life Sciences (Alta LS) was established in 2016. Based in Barcelona, the management team is led by the co-founder of Alta Partners Guy Paul Nohra, a leading pioneer VC in life sciences. Alta Partners has funded over 150 companies since 1996. Alta LS specializes in the life sciences sector in Spain and abroad, targeting biotech, genomics, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health. It also acts as a bridge fund, connecting the Spanish life sciences ecosystem to VC experts in Silicon Valley. Investment is available for all stages of development, with focus mainly on seed and Series A funding.

Civeta is a Madrid-based VC fund founded in 2013 by a small group of Spanish angel investors. It has backed 39 startups in blockchain, education, marketplace and platform.In 2014, the company experienced intense investment activity and was ranked among the most active VC firms in Spain. Since 2016, it has hosted the Civeta Fintech Meetings in Madrid, to which key industry players are invited to discuss and analyze fintech trends and business opportunities. Civeta also offers consultancy services on business model development, branding, UX, social media, data analysis, and legal support. 

Lanzadera was founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Juan Roig, Spain's third richest individual and the CEO and biggest single shareholder of the country's largest supermarket group, Mercadona. Roig personally keeps track of the performance of the startups managed by the business incubator and accelerator based in Valencia, Spain.Lanzadera has invested €21m in almost 200 tech startups and consumer-focused offline businesses. To date, it has completed one exit via Groupify. Since 2016, Lanzadera has also specialized in video game development with Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain. The Lanzadera programs include training and assessments over a period of 9–11 months at its attractive Valencia marina location. 

Founded in 2002, Bluesail was initially known as a manufacturer of PVC gloves, with an annual capacity of tens of billions of pairs at its peak. At the end of 2012, it began to expand into more health-related areas.In 2018, it acquired a 93.37% stake in Biosensors International Group that specializes in developing, manufacturing and licensing technologies for use in interventional cardiology procedures and critical care. The two companies were merged and Bluesail began to produce more high-end medical consumables. In 2019, the company and senior executives invested in CH Biomedical to collaborate in the development of innovative medical devices for sale in China and overseas. 

Founded in Colorado in 2006, Techstars is a prolific investor and accelerator. More than 2,300 companies have entered its portfolio, with a combined market cap of $32bn. It generally invests at the pre-seed and seed stages across sectors and geographies and has provided over $11.4bn in investment, with 86% of companies still active or acquired.Every year, it selects over 500 startups to join its three-month accelerators, held globally, investing $120,000 in each startup and providing access to the Techstars network for life. Its most recent investments include in the undisclosed January 2021 pre-seed rounds of Latvian logistics monitoring platform Kedeon and US product development software Bild.

Founded in 2012 in Washington DC, Accion Venture Lab is a seed-stage investor in fintech for the underserved. Venture Lab is part of Accion, a not-for-profit global organization that works with financial service providers to deliver affordable solutions for unbanked and underbanked communities worldwide.Its portfolio includes 44 startups from 17 countries, ranging from Chile to Indonesia. Seed-stage startups normally get $500,000 funding per company. Investments in December 2020 included participation in the $1.5m seed round of Argentinian software development tech Henry and a financing round for Indonesian micro-credit fintech Pintech.

Enrique Alcázar Garzas holds a double bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Carlos III University in Madrid. He spent one year as an exchange student at Hanyang University in South Korea and returned home to work as an R&D intern for app development at a Spanish startup Natureh in 2016. He is the co-founder and CTO of blockchain startup Lingotts. The full stack blockchain developer also works on various projects at Grant Thornton and Santander Technology’s innovation lab. He co-founded NutraSign in 2018 and is in charge of the company's app and blockchain development as CTO.

Albert Bellonch is computer science engineer based in Barcelona. He is teacher and mentor in Ironhack, a coding bootcamp in web development, UX/UI design and data analytics.He has been involved in the founding and development of Itnig, a startup accelerator based in Barcelona. In this capacity, he has covered the roles of software engineer and CTO and today is one of Itnig's partners.In 2013, he co-founded Quipu, a cloud SaaS tool that automates invoicing and cash management for freelancers, SMEs and accounting firms. He covered the role of CTO until end of 2018, when he became VP of Engineering. 

Zhou Ying graduated in 1993 with a BSc Thermal Engineering and Computer Applications from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.He has over 20 years of experience in hardware development and has been working as a senior product manager at Haier since October 2014. Based in Beijing, he also co-founded medtech Modoo in 2015 as CTO. Zhou has worked for over three years at Nokia as senior engineeering manager, system design manager and system architect. He also worked for the Microsoft Device Group as a senior engineering manager for six months, leading a team for innovation project development until September 2014.
