CEO and founder of SOURCE Global (formerly Zero Mass Water)
Cody Frieson is the US founder and CEO of SOURCE Global (formerly Zero Mass Water), the first off-grid drinking water production tech based on solar-powered panels. The Arizona State University Fulton Engineering School professor of innovation invented the Hydropanel, the key to SOURCE’s technology, and continues to teach part-time at the university. He is also a fellow at both the NGO Aspen Institute, which is committed to realizing a free, just and equitable society, and also at Unreasonable – an entity composed of entrepreneurs, institutions and investors dedicated to “discover profit in solving global problems.”Frieson was also previously founder, president and CTO of rechargeable zinc battery startup Fluidic Energy, another of his inventions, where he worked from 2007 to 2013, when it was acquired and became NantEnergy. In 2019, Freison won the Lemelson-MIT Student Prize for innovations to benefit the world – the US’ most prestigious student innovation award with a $500,000 prize. Frieson holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Ex-Djarum employee Frandy Wirajaya Sugianto holds a Master of Management degree in Creative Marketing from the University of Surabaya (UBAYA). He joined clove cigarette manufacturer Djarum’s Sales and Marketing division in 2001 and worked for 10 years before being hired as the CEO of Infokost.id in 2011. In 2013, Frandy became the CEO of Global Visi Media (GVM) Networks, which includes companies such as Opini.id and Bolalob.com. Infokost.id is a company under GDP Venture group, founded and owned by Martin Hartono. The Hartono family also owns Djarum, Indonesia’s biggest cigarette manufacturer.

He was with Schell Games in Pittsburgh as a Game Engineer for over three years, working mainly on iOS and Android mobile games such as War of Nations.

Ahmad Karim is the co-founder and CTO of PesanLab. Ahmad has a bachelor’s and master’s in Information Technology from Binus University. He had previously worked for two years in IT for one of Indonesia’s biggest logistics company PT Nusantara Card Semesta. He left the company in 2014 to become one of the youngest team member at PesanLab.

In 2014, he co-founded a social media voting startup Votinc, with Markus Liman Rahardja whom he met at Verena Multi Finance. Votinc only ran for a year and the two friends later created Zelos with Chris Winston while they working together at a dining event project.
