Chaired by former Time Warner CEO Jerry Levin, the platform is reputed to have the world’s largest portfolio of digital health companies spanning 12 countries. Tetuan Valley has built a network of over 500 entrepreneurs through its six-week Madrid-based Startup School program, which was started in 2009 and is in its 25th edition. Partnering with Google, the European Commission, MIT and universities in Spain, Tetuan offers early stage startups guidance on financial and commercial strategy, while providing technology mentors to support them on product development.

Pablo Manuel Vidarte Gordillo is the co-founder and CEO of Arkyne Technologies. Graduating in 2018, the Multimedia Engineering student at Universidad Ramón Llull (La Salle University BCN) in Barcelona was named as one of the most promising young people in Forbes 30u30 Europe in 2017. Vidarte is an energetic serial entrepreneur and has won several awards for his endeavors. Besides co-founding Bioo and Geoo, he also founded AI and video game software Aioo. He was also a speaker at the 2017 South Summit.

Ryan Mario Yasin is an engineer, designer and sustainable fashion entrepreneur based in London. Originally from Reykjavik, Iceland, Yasin graduated in aeronautical engineering at Imperial College London and has a master’s in global innovation design from the Royal College of Art. As a 23-year-old design student, Yasin founded materials technology startup Petit Pli, and developed the design for the company’s first product, a pleated garment that could expand up to seven sizes to last children through their first few years of life. Petit Pli now makes expandable pleated clothes for children and adults, using a fabric derived from recycled plastic and a structure inspired by origami, architecture and space satellites. Petit Pli products have won a number of prestigious awards, such as the UK James Dyson Award, Time Magazine’s best invention of 2020 and the Red Dot Product Design Award.Yasin has a strong interest in photography and in the interplay between art and engineering. In 2020, Yasin was included by Forbes in its 30 Under 30 list for Europe.

In 2012, he established 8villages with Indonesian social media entrepreneur Sanny Gaddafi. Mathieu later left the startup and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue other ventures. He is currently the managing director of Maison du Pain, a London bakery with buyers from all over Europe.

Before that, he had spent almost two decades working in the US, the UK, Spain and Southern Europe in a range of executive posts in large multinationals, incuding Citigroup and BNP Paribas. He holds an MBA in Finance from Carroll School of Management, Boston College, and a Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as a professional qualification as a licensed insurance broker in Spain.
