Established in 1978, Ultramagic Balloons is a Spanish balloon manufacturer based in the town of Igualada, in Barcelona province. It designs and manufactures hot air and high altitude balloons that are used by Zero 2 Infinity. It is the world's second-largest producer of high altitude balloons. It's sole investment to date was in the seed round of Zero 2 Infinity in 2010. 

Rentracks is an adtech company from Japan, listed in the “Mothers” (Market of the High-Growth and Emerging Stocks) board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The company provides consultancy services for web development (for SEO, SEM, and other ad purposes) and Internet-based ads. Rentracks also has a network of affiliate companies in various Asian countries, including China, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Zhongke Turing (CASTuring) was jointly set up by the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institution of Computing Technology, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and private VC firms, including Pioneer Investment, in 2019. It provides seed funding and incubation services to businesses from emerging industries deemed as strategically important, including but not limited to chipmaking, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and big data. 

The Woodford Patient Capital Trust is part of the larger group Woodford Funds. The company is based in Oxford and was formed in 2014, headed by veteran fund manager Neil Woodford. The Patient Capital Trust focuses on early- and early-growth-stage companies, with target returns of more than 10% yearly. The bulk of their portfolio comprises healthcare companies. 

Founder of Xiongxin Capital, Wang Guanxiong used to work in Alibaba, Wanda, 360 and Linekong. He is one of the top 10 We Media and a KOL in tech business in China.

Sandeep Tandon is a serial entrepreneur and investor, with a bachelor’s and a master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA. He is currently the managing director of Tandon Technology Ventures, part of Sandeep’s Tandon Group that is based in San Jose in California. He also co-founded Freecharge that was recently sold to Paytm, an e-commerce brand owned by India’s mobile internet company One97 Communications. Sandeep is an active angel investor and mentor, with personal investments in 15 startups including a first Series A funding of US$ 4.5 million in Unacademy in January 2017.

With the State Council’s approval, the China State-Owned VC Fund was established and financed by China Construction Bank Corporation, China Reform Holdings Corporation, Ltd. (CRHC), the Postal Savings Bank of China and Shenzhen Investment Holding Co., Ltd. in 2016. The fund had initial capital of RMB 100 billion, 34 billion of which came from state-owned CRHC, which is also the fund’s main sponsor and controlling shareholder. The China State-Owned VC Fund is committed to helping centrally-administered state companies develop by investing in technological upgrades in the fields of robotics, AI, big data, mobile finance, electric vehicles, new energy, etc.

David Boronat is an internet enthusiast, with over 20 years of professional experience in the market. He is a mentor and advisor to tech startups in Spain and Latin America. He is passionate about digital strategies, UX and web analytics. Based in Mexico and the US, Boronat is currently managing two of his own businesses. In 2000, he became the CEO and founder of Multiplica, an international performance consultancy agency. In 2005, he founded Metriplica, a partner agency of Google Analytics, IBM, ComScore and Omniture. Metriplica offers digital measurement and data mining services.

Pere Valles is an entrepreneur and angel investor in the Spanish startup ecosystem, sitting on the board of several companies. Valles has been chairman of Spanish digital voting platform Scytl since 2004. In 2018, he was appointed CEO of travel platform Exoticca, which sells long haul touring holidays and has a presence in Spain, France and the UK. He had been a financial director of GlobalNet and a senior manager at KPMG's mergers & acquisitions group in the US.  

China Merchants Venture, a subsidiary of China Merchants Group, was founded in November 2015. It is headquartered in Shenzhen and has opened offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Israel and Silicon Valley. The company invests in finance, real estate, logistics, transportation, healthcare, AI, among other industries. Of the RMB 5 bn capital under its management, RMB 2bn is earmarked for a fund of funds (FOF) and the other RMB 3 bn for direct investment. As of April 2019, the FOF has invested in 28 early and growth stage funds, and directly invested in over 50 startups.  

Angels Capital is an investment vehicle created by Juan Roig as part of the Marina of Companies network in Valencia. Its mission is to grow startups within the Lanzadera accelerator, as well as external projects that facilitate the creation of a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in Valencia. Angels Capital has 13 current investment projects, seven of which it is lead investor in and, since 2014, it has invested €15.5 million in capital. Recent investments include a €1 million venture round for cloud-based workflow platform SheetGo, and €360,000 in seed funding for bank aggregation system Afterbanks.

Yago Arbeloa is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience founding internet and advertising companies in Spain.Arbeloa is president of MIOGROUP, a marketing and advertising group with yearly turnover of more than €50m. He is also president of the Internet Investors and Entrepreneurs Association. Through Viriditas Ventures, his investment vehicle, Arbeloa has backed tech startups such as We are Knitters, Rentuos, Baluwo, iContainers and Reclamador.es.

Didac Lee is a Spanish entrepreneur and angel investor of Chinese descent. Lee focuses on investments in Spanish startups with recent participation in seed rounds of e-sports training program Gamestry and life management tool Eelp!Based in Barcelona, he has also established 15 companies including co-founding Galdana Ventures, a VC with interests in the US, Asia, Israel and Europe. Galdana has a portfolio of 30 companies with total investments worth US$1bn. Other companies include Tradeinn online sports stores and Inspirit business incubator. The serial entrepreneur is also a board member of Barcelona FC.

The IESE BAN was formed in 2003 by a group of angel investors and entrepreneurs bringing together both alumni and non-alumni of the IESE Business School. It creates and manages deal flow for investors while establishing synergies and collaboration among the network's members. It counts on more than 250 active investors financing technology startups in Madrid and Barcelona. To-date, IESE BAN has invested more than €50m in over 220 startups. It is also part of ACCIÓ’s Network of Private Investors, which fosters technology innovation and startups’ growth in Catalonia.
