Design to Improve Life Fund (The INDEX Project)
The Index Project, known by its motto “Design to Improve Life”, is a Copenhagen-based non-profit organization under the patronage of the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark and supported by the Danish Ministry of Business and Growth.Founded in 2002, The Index Project organizes the biennial Index Award, one of the world's biggest design award. A diverse range of designs are selected through each Index Award cycle. It also backs projects with good causes through investment vehicle, Design to Improve Life Fund that has stakes in 11 solutions, ranging from seed to Series B+.

Co-founder, CPO of Rheaply
Tyler Skelton is the CPO and co-founder of pioneering circular economy B2B asset reuse platform Rheaply, where he has worked full-time since 2016. Before that, he worked at online mortgage company Guaranteed Rate as a senior designer. He has also worked as a designer or tech engineer in several other Chicago-based startups including Palantir.net, The Nines and Analyte Health. Skelton also worked in marketing and design early in his career. He hold’s a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications: Design and Production from Indiana University Bloomington.

He also co-founded and headed Innovarligero for over nine years, facilitating innovative agile processes for agrifood SMEs. Navarro was selected as one of 10 brilliant Murcian entrepreneurs to join the executive training programs of the Advanced Leadership Foundation (ALF). Through AFL, he had the opportunity to meet former US President Barack Obama during the Summit of Technological Innovation and Circular Economy held in Madrid in 2018.

Before this, she had completed a year’s stint working in circular-economy R&D projects at LEILAT Technological Center and in 2016 she completed her master’s research at the University of Barcelona. This was in the field of environmental biotechnology, namely polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA). Aymà has considerable training in biotechnology with a master’s in environmental engineering in 2016 from the University of Barcelona and a first degree in the subject from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2017, she also gained entry to the youth entrepreneurship acceleration program Yuzz Santander, a Santander Bank initiative.
