Founded in 2019, Country Garden Venture Capital is the corporate venturing arm of Chinese real estate developer Country Garden. With its parent company as the cornerstone investor, it is focused on certain sectors of the supply chain, namely, technology, healthcare and consumption. The graduate from Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Telkom (Telkom University) in Bandung is responsible for the agritech’s software development as the CTO and co-founder of Habibi Garden.

Dian Prayogi Susanto graduated in 2007 from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He had previously worked as lead engineer for Schlumberger. After two failed attempts at entrepreneurship, he met high school friend Irsan Rajamin. The two developed an idea to automate farming through the use of sensors, automatic pumps and analytics. In 2016, their idea manifested into Habibi Garden, an IoT startup that aims to automate farming and solve crop nourishment issues.

The Spanish national holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Industrial and Product Design from London’s Brunel University and is an associate member of Spain’s Institute of Design Engineers. He studied for an EMBA in Renmin University of China from 2011 to 2013. In 1995, he joined the edible oil manufacturer Luhua Group, where he was in charge of import and export management. He founded Jinshi Software in 1997. In 2003, he became the exclusive distributor of many prominent gaming companies like Tencent and Shengqu Games in Shandong province. In 2008, he founded Xinhe Technology as an exclusive distributor for top games including Genghis Khan and Shumen. He invested in the online game developer Locojoy in 2011 and joined the company in 2013. In 2018, he co-founded Beijing Code View Technology, which launched Reworld in 2019.

Currently based in London, French national Pierre Yves Paslier completed a master’s in materials science and engineering from INSA in Lyon in 2010. In 2012, he went on to complete a master’s in industrial and product design at the Royal College of Art in London. He also studied innovation design engineering at Imperial College.After graduating in 2014, Paslier and university alumnus Rodrigo García González co-founded Skipping Rocks Lab that was pivoted as Notpla in 2019. Both are co-CEOs of the UK-based startup that develops compostable and edible packaging material made of seaweed and other plants.Before becoming an entrepreneur, Paslier worked as a packaging engineer for L’Oréal from 2010 to 2012. He has been invited to speak at TEDx conferences in Athens and Warwick to share his experience and innovative projects in packaging and product design. In 2020, he became an industrial advisory board member at Imperial College London Dyson School of Design Engineering.
