PT Prasetia Dwidharma is a telecommunications infrastructure contractor that focuses on base transceiver station (BTS) construction projects. The company was founded in 2008 by Budi Setiadharma, the chairman of the board of Indonesian conglomerate PT Astra Internasional. Besides its contractor business, the company has also invested in notable startups such as Indonesia’s smart city app Qlue and online language course site SquLine.com.

In April 2018, both brothers co-founded Elio to focus online healthcare for men.

Steve Christian is the co-founder of Indonesian entertainment website KapanLagi.com. Launched in 2003 with a five-member team, KapanLagi.com has grown to an over 500-employee company and merged with Fimela Network in 2014 to create the Kapan Lagi Network (KLN). KLN has a monthly readership of 40 million.

Ex-Smailing Tours Vice President for Inbound Marketing, Jimmy Akili worked at the family business for 12 years before launching Bobobobo. Smailing Tours, one of Indonesia’s largest travel agents, is founded and managed by the Akili family. Jimmy’s formal education background is in Marketing, with a minor in Psychology.

Kukuh Budi Santoso graduated from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya with a degree in Agriculture. While at university, he was an active in student organizations such as the IAAS (an international organization of agriculture students) and founded social enterprises. Prior to co-founding agri-investment platform Tanijoy, Kukuh ran Escape.id, a community-based tourism business.

As one of the original enterprises of the Japanese Mitsubishi Group, Mitsubishi Motors started its automotive business in the pre-World War era. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries produced and imported cars for local use. The automotive company became part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance in 2016 after Nissan acquired a controlling stake in Mitsubishi Motors. Indonesia's Gojek is its latest investment to expand into the ride-hailing tech sector in Southeast-Asia.

ATM Capital is a China-based venture capital firm with a focus on Southeast Asia. In 2017, ATM Capital participated in the seed round of Indonesian coworking space operator Rework (now GoWork). Its its partners have invested in Go-Jek, Rocket Internet and several Chinese companies. It closed its US$200 million fund in January 2019. 

Kinesys Group is an Indonesian VC founded in 2019 by startup ecosystem builder Yansen Kamto. The company made their debut investment in new retail F&B startup Wahyoo. They have also backed sweet-drinks chain Goola and online learning center Zenius. While the company has made at least five investments in Indonesian companies, they have not closed their first fund, for which they targeted to reach $20m. Kinesys targets seed rounds, contributing ticket sizes averaging around $500,000 per startup.

West Kalimantan native, Leontinus Alpha Edison, graduated from Atma Jaya University in Yogyakarta in 2003 with a bachelor’s in Information Technology. He worked as a website developer for various companies before becoming the General Manager of PT Indocom Mediatama, where he met co-founder William Tanuwijaya and future Tokopedia investor Victor Fungkong. Edison is also the co-founder of Indonesian VC firm Kolibra Capital.

Indri Hardianti graduated from Indonesia’s Universitas Bina Nusantara (Binus) with a degree in Information Systems, where she was active in the IT students’ association and the promotion team of the university’s international branch. She established Binary Art in 2015, an app development house, together with fellow Binus alumni Sutan Imam Abu Hanifah. After a year, the two embarked on another startup, Periksa.id, a web-based hospital management program suite.

After graduating from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro with a degree in Computer Science, Maulana Bayu Samudra worked as a web designer for Seven Media Technology from 2015 to 2018. Together with former colleague Fadhil Nur Mahardi and food entrepreneur Kaesang Pangarep, he established Indonesian home chef meal service Madhang in late 2017, serving as its first CEO. Maulana later took on the COO role in January 2019.

Serena Ventures is a venture capital investment firm founded by professional tennis player and businesswoman Serena Williams. The company focuses on early-stage companies founded by young, diverse teams. Since it was founded in 2014, it has invested in more than 30 companies with a cumulative market cap of $12b. Coffee brand Kopi Kenangan is its first investment in the Indonesian market. Serena Ventures has invested in notable companies like plant-based meat maker Impossible Foods, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, as well as Serena Williams’ own fashion label, S by Serena.

Peter Shearer is a marketing communications professional who co-founded of AR&Co, a company under the WIR advertising group, that provides augmented reality-based interactive ads. As WIR's Chief Business Development Officer, he also co-founded DÄV, which creates AI-enabled interactive advertising platforms for FMCG brands in convenience stores. Peter left his position at WIR and its affiliated companies in 2017 to establish Wahyoo, an Indonesian startup that upgrades traditional roadside eateries to boost their owners' incomes.

Imron graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2001 with a bachelors in Industrial Design. In 2004, he founded Irisdesain, a studio which fulfilled below the line corporate branding needs. In 2013, Imron co-founded Digital Happiness, an Indonesian video games development studio. Prior to setting up Digital Happiness, he was a 3D animator and design consultant. He created a simulation game for the Indonesian army. He is now CEO of Digital Happiness.

Caris LeVert is a professional basketball player in the USA’s National Basketball Association league, playing for the Brooklyn Nets. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he joined the Nets in 2016, after the Indiana Pacers swapped him for Thaddeus Young in that year’s draft. In 2019, the Nets signed a three year-extension for LeVert’s contract, worth $52.5m.LeVert is managed by Roc Nation, the entertainment and sports management firm founded by musician Jay-Z. He took part in Roc Nation’s investment (via venture arm Arrive) in Indonesian coffee brand Kopi Kenangan. LeVert is also the founder of the 22 Initiative, a youth mentorship program in New York.
