Data scientist, linguist and researcher Daniela Braga is the co-founder and CEO of DefinedCrowd. She was previously President and Chief Scientist at the company, and, before that held various data science management positions at VoiceBox Technologies in Bellevue, Washington State. She spent almost seven years as a program manager at Microsoft, also in Bellevue, and has held various positions at the University of Washington, University of A Coruña, Spain, and University of Porto, Portugal. Guillermo Lamelas Nogueira is a telecommunications engineer who is the co-founder of Alén Space and of which he has been CEO since 2018. His previous experience in the telecommunications sector and in international startup acceleration include HTI & Berren AG in Switzerland and Karlenkaski, OY in Finland. Lamelas has also held various managerial positions at Telefónica de España S.A.U. from 2000 to 2015 and had established Impact before joining Alén Space. Albert Bellonch is computer science engineer based in Barcelona. He developed the Canny edge detector that uses a multi-stage algorithm to detect a wide range of edges in images. He is also an ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award winner and a Packard Fellow.

Mallet also co-founded a music label, Ubermax Records, in 2011.Mallet holds two master’s degrees: Science in Management and Business from the HEC School of Management in Paris, and International Business and Management from Vienna University of Economics and Management.
