Albert Bellonch is computer science engineer based in Barcelona. He is teacher and mentor in Ironhack, a coding bootcamp in web development, UX/UI design and data analytics.He has been involved in the founding and development of Itnig, a startup accelerator based in Barcelona. In this capacity, he has covered the roles of software engineer and CTO and today is one of Itnig's partners.In 2013, he co-founded Quipu, a cloud SaaS tool that automates invoicing and cash management for freelancers, SMEs and accounting firms. He covered the role of CTO until end of 2018, when he became VP of Engineering. 

Founding CTO of US car sharing platform Zipcar, Roy Russell received his bachelor's in Computer Engineering at MIT. Before Zipcar, he was in charge of speech recognition software development at Kurzweil AI and Lernout & Hauspie. He has served as co-founder and CTO of Veniam since 2013. Russell is married to Robin Chase, co-founder and executive chairman of Veniam and co-founder of Zipcar. Starting in 2010, Russell served as CTO of French car sharing startup Buzzcar (since merged with Drivy). Starting in 2007, he was CTO at US consultancy Meadow Networks and rideshare startup GoLoco. He is based in Boston.

With about US$20 billion under management worldwide, New York-headquartered Tiger Global Management was founded in 2000 with US$25 million by billionaire Charles "Chase“ Coleman. Part private equity manager, part hedge fund manager, Tiger Global is known for its big bets on tech startups, including some of today's leading names Facebook, LinkedIn, Zynga and Uber.

Palladium Capital is a London-based private investment firm, originally established in 2005 as an independent strategic and financial adviser focusing on Central and Eastern Europe.Since 2010, Palladium has expanded activities to include Western Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. In 2014, the firm started direct private equity investments, acting on behalf of private family-owned funds and strategic investment partners. In February 2018, the advisory business was transferred to the newly formed sister company XPX Partners.

Passion Capital is an early stage venture capital firm that has been involved in several large European technology exits, such as QXL/Tradus, Ricardo.de and Last.fm. The partners include Robert Dighero, Eileen Burbidge and Stefan Glaenzer who believe that the passion and ability of the founders are critical keys to success. Passion Capital has a hub for activities in White Bear Yard in London and invests in digital media and technology companies.

Kinzon Capital was co-founded by several former senior executives of Fosun Kinzon Capital (now called Fosun RZ Capital) in 2016. It invests primarily in early- and growth-stage TMT companies from China and the US. Kinzon Capital has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Silicon Valley and has invested RMB 2 billion in potential companies.

HATCH is an aquaculture-tech-focused accelerator program initiated by the aquaculture-focused seed VC investor Alimentos Ventures to help related startups reach commercialization and access further funding. Its inaugural program was held in Bergen, Norway, followed by a second batch in Cork, Ireland. Successful applicants get €50,000 cash and possible subsequent funding, plus free office space for up to 12 months in either of HATCH's offices in Bergen and Singapore. Its international partners include food corporates, state entities and aquaculture groups.

In January 2006, Chen Hua (Tony Chen) co-founded Kuxun.cn, a Chinese travel and hotel search engine that was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2009. Chen exited Kuxun in late 2008 and joined Alibaba in early 2009, working on the application of search engine technology. He resigned in February 2011 and started a mobile tech enterprise. In May 2012, he released Changba, an app offering users a portable solo KTV booth that attracted over 1m users in just one week after its release.

CNBB Venture Partners is a Dutch fund with 30+ years' experience in the SaaS cloud industry – the company’s main investment focus. Through the VC fund, CNBB invests in funding rounds from €500,000 to €5m, usually provided to companies with a minimum of  €1m annual recurring revenue.Through the private equity vehicle, CNBB identifies and acquires Europe-based SaaS companies active in markets with consistent growth, profitability and consolidation. CNBB provides equity investment from €3m to €10m.

Italy's first impact investment fund is focused mainly on assisting Italian startups. Its investment size ranges from €200,000 to €6m. Oltre Venture was founded in 2006 as Oltre Venture I by Luciano Balbo and Lorenzo Allevi, both pioneers in Europe's impact investing ecosystem and each with extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance and VC firms.In 2016, the company launched a second investment vehicle (Oltre Venture II) which currently has a portfolio of more than 22 startups.

Hong Kong-based Unicorn Capital Partners was founded in 2015 by Tommy Yip, former partner of Emerald Hill Capital Partners.Unicorn is a leading FoF platform that focuses on venture capital fund and direct investment opportunities in China and Asia. It mainly invests in technology, media, telecommunications and healthcare. By December 2019, Unicorn had $800m in assets under management. It also raised over $350m for its fourth fund.

Founded in 2010, WestSummit Capital is a US-focused, growth-stage venture capital fund with a strong presence in Silicon Valley, Beijing, Hong Kong and Dublin. It has a total of over $400m under management, and invests in the mobile, internet, cloud computing, big data and IoT sectors. In 2013, it participated in a Series C $20m investment in Twitch, the world's leading video platform and community for gamers, which was acquired by Amazon in August 2014 for close to $1bn. 

UBS is a Switzerland-based financial institution providing banking, wealth management, and securities services. Originally established in 1862 as the Bank in Winterthur, it is the largest Swiss banking institution. UBS engages in venture capital activities as part of its investment banking services. In 2020, UBS began a partnership with venture capital firm Anthemis to launch UBS Next, a $200m fund that will invest in fintech and other tech startups.

Shieny Aprilia is one of Agate's original 18 members and has been with the company since it was established in 2009. She was originally tasked with managing the company's operations and finances while still working as a game programmer and producer. As Agate continued to grow, she took over the role of COO and eventually became Chief Marketing Officer.Like most of the other original members of Agate, Shieny graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology with a bachelor's in Informatics Engineering.

Bernat Farrero is a co-founder and Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Revenue Officer at Spanish human resource startup Factorial. He is also the Founder and CEO of Itnig, a venture builder based in Barcelona, the founder and chairman of Quipu, an account management platform and Camaloon, which offers online designing and printing of commercial products. Trained as a computer science engineer, Farrero is also an experienced entrepreneur and investor, involved in the successful exits of Playfulbet, which was acquired by Exoclick and GymForLess, which was acquired by Sodexo.
