Co-founder and CTO of Unbabel
Unbabel Co-founder and CTO Graça is a machine learning and natural language processing specialist and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Portugal, where he majored in Computer Engineering. He is also a former postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. Besides working at Unbabel, Graça is a researcher at the IST's Spoken Language Systems Lab (L2F) in Lisbon and an official member of Forbes Technology Council. He also briefly worked at adtech startup Dezine as Chief Scientist.

After gaining work experience at the InterContinental Hotels Group in Singapore, Christina Suriadjaja decided to become a tech entrepreneur by co-founding Travelio, a spin-off from her father’s public-listed SSIA property conglomerate PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk.Christina attended the Singapore Sports School and was a member of the national netball team, before returning to Indonesia to study at the Jakarta International School. Lecturer-turned-entrepreneur Joao Paulo Rodrigues spent nearly a decade at the Computer and System Engineering Institute of Porto (INESC) as a researcher, and at Porto Business School (PBS). While at INESC and PBS, Rodrigues co-founded Xarevision, an INESC spinoff. In February 2014, he left his position as Xarevision’s CTO to start Xhockware. He continues to work at Xhockware as CEO and has an educational background in engineering, in which he holds a PhD. from the University of Porto, as well as in business management.

Vidarte is an energetic serial entrepreneur and has won several awards for his endeavors. Besides co-founding Bioo and Geoo, he also founded AI and video game software Aioo.
