In 2017, Eydt went back to work as a junior manager at family-owned Hotel Eydt in Kirchheim.Currently based in Copenhagen, he is now the CEO and co-founder of Danish alt-leather biotech, Beyond Leather Materials, that produces vegan leather materials from apple waste. He is also a director of the Canadian Alumni in Indonesia (Calindo).
