Liu Yixun graduated from the School of Science and Technology of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. While studying in the university, he interned at Alibaba for about a year around 2011 and started a company to create software for lighting manufacturers in Zhongshan, a city famous for lamp production. After graduation, he worked at Tencent's e-commerce and Tenpay department as a product manager. He resigned from Tencent in 2014 and found DuduBus in 2015, serving as CEO since then. 

Parejo is an MBA graduate from Barcelona's IESE Business School with double degrees in Law and Business Administration.He worked for several years as a lawyer for real estate and land development companies. He joined his first tech company in 2011, working as Head of Sales and Head of Department in Groupon Brazil.From 2014 to 2016, he was the managing director of iContainers, an online B2B and B2C platform for international ocean and airfreight shipments.He is now Co-founder and CMO of OnTruck, an innovation-oriented logistics company that optimizes road freight transportation through technology.

Enric Asunción (b.1985) is an industrial engineer who has devoted all of his career to the electric vehicle charging market. Asunción worked at Tesla Motors Netherlands for one year as a program manager of Charging Installations in 2014. Before joining the Institute of Robotics and Informatics in Catalonia, he worked with electric and hybrid vehicles as an engineer within the Electric Vehicle Charger testing team at Applus IDIADA in 2009. By working for top-notch firms and institutions within the electric automotive industry, he has experience in testing and developing the best technologies for charging solutions in the market.

Carlos Hernando is a Spanish computer engineer with significant experience as a CTO and as a leader of technology teams in startups.He’s also an active startup mentor through the Tetuan Valley Network. Currently, Hernando is CTO and co-founder of Zensei, a virtual clinic app aimed at preventing and assisting users in their management of respiratory problems.Prior to Zensei, Hernando held CTO roles in startups in the health and travel sectors, such as Doctor24 and Smartvel, noted for his contribution as technical leader, for his customer-centric approach and for the scalability of the technology he develops

Asro Nasiri is a seasoned aircraft engineer. From 1993 to 2007, Nasiri worked for the Indonesian state-owned aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia. He designed and analyzed various systems for civilian and military aircraft, including weapon systems and FLIR thermal imaging. He left the company in 2007 to become a lecturer and director of an incubator at Yogyakarta's Universitas Amikom.In 2017, he was approached by Indonesian entrepreneur Kiwi Aliwarga who was looking for engineers to build Indonesia's first passenger-carrying drones. They co-founded FROGS to design and build passenger-carrying drones in Indonesia, with Nasiri as COO and chief certification officer.

Keenan Wyrobek is a graduate from Stanford University and Johns Hopkins University specializing in medical product design and robotics. He has developed several patents for medical robotics and other high-tech products.He also co-founded the Personal Robotics Program at Willow Garage, where he was involved in launching the Robot Operating System (ROS) and the first personal robot for software application development. In 2014, Wyrobek co-founded Zipline International and became head of product and engineering at the Silicon Valley-based company that makes drones for delivering critical medical supplies to remote parts of the world.

A graduate with a master’s in Management and Business Strategy from the ESSEC Business School Paris, Nathanael Faibis had worked for two years as a project manager in France, Kenya and Morocco for a pharmaceutical market research company Sanisphere. In 2012, he worked for Lazada in Vietnam and Indonesia before becoming the head of production and user experience of Lazada Southeast Asia. However, he left Lazada in March 2013 to rejoin Sanisphere in Jakarta as the country head and global head of data management. Finally in April 2014, he decided to set up an Indonesian health portal Alodokter.

Viperi Limiardi is the commissioner of Artav, the national distributor for mobile network operator XL Axiata. Artav was an early investor in Kioson and is now a majority shareholder of the recently public-listed fintech in Indonesia. A Computer Science graduate from Universitas Trisakti, Viperi had also worked as a professional banker at Bank Indonesia for more than 15 years.

Ouyang Fujin graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Upon graduation, he worked for Tencent till 2015 on open.qq.com's Midas, a charging system for mobile game apps. In 2015, he co-founded DuduBus. In 2018, he co-founded CSC, a C2C car sharing platform using blockchain technology.

Founder and CEO of Maimai. Lin studied computer science at Tsinghua University. He studied for half a year at the University of Maryland after graduation, then went back to China and joined Sogou, a search engine startup that later grew into a unicorn. He worked in Sogou for seven years, then briefly at a recruitment website, before deciding to start Maimai.

Zhou graduated from Southwest University of Political Science & Law with a bachelors in Law in 2010 and received an MBA degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2019. He worked for a market consultancy firm for seven years, working his way up from project supervisor to general manager of the company. He founded Xrush in 2016.

Aurora Baptista has been a co-founding partner of BEEVERYCREATIVE since 2012 when it was known as bitBOX. She became its new CEO in August 2015. The Portuguese graduate in Business Management was also a postgrad at Harvard University in 2005.In 2008, Baptista started her own consultancy Cumprir Metas, Lda. She was an administrator at McKinsey for three years before becoming a partner at Arthur Andersen in 1990 for 11 years. She later became a partner at SGG Serviços Gerais deGestão (SGG) for over 18 years and a partner at Deloitte for seven years until 2008.

Ronald Ishak has been involved in tech startups since 2008 when he became Web Applications Manager, Online Trading at PT Ciptadana Capital and led a team of developers to build an online stock trading app for the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In August 2009, he became CTO at web developer company, PT Domikado, and left in January 2014 when the company was acquired. Meanwhile, in 2010, he co-founded his first (short-lived) company, which developed a photo sharing app for mobile platforms. For nine months from November 2014, he was CTO at PT Giftcard Indonesia, which distributes digital giftcards for brands. In 2016, he co-founded Hacktiv8, a training center that runs web development bootcamps and other programming courses, with Riza Fahmi and is its CEO. Ishak is also partner at RMKB Ventures, an Indonesian VC that has backed, among others, insurtech firm Qoala, “CTO-as-a-service” startup Rebel Works and Hacktiv8.

Antonio Tripiana Caballero worked for almost two years as project engineer at the Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation (SPCOMNAV) research group at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).The Department of Telecommunications and Systems Engineering project was part of Tripiana’s master’s degree in Telecoms Systems Engineering during his university days from 2011 to 2016. He also completed a one-year exchange program at Finland’s Tampere University of Technology.Tripiana worked as a freelance full-stack developer in Barcelona during his studies. He worked for four months as a scientist at Barcelona’s Mobile World Capital to develop a cloud-based GNSS receiver for IoT devices with ultra-low battery consumption. He also spent five months testing receivers at the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Netherlands.In 2018, he co-founded Plant on Demand (POD) as the startup’s Solutions Architect. He took on the full-time role of CTO during 1Q2020.

Joana Paiva graduated in 2014 with a master’s in biomedical engineering at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. She went on to complete a PhD in physics at the University of Porto in 2019.In 2014, she also worked at INESC Technology and Science for almost five years while completing her PhD thesis: Intelligent Lab on Fiber tools for sensing single-cells and extracellular nano-vesicles. It was her research that led to the founding of medtech startup iLoF.In August 2019, she co-founded iLoF as CTO. The Oxford-Oporto-based startup enables personalized medicine through the use of AI and photonics to create optical fingerprints in a cloud-based library to collate disease biomarkers and biological profiles.Based in Porto, she is also a co-inventor with three patents and 29 scientific publications. She is one of Forbes 30 Under 30 for science and healthcare and was nominated for the EIT Woman Award 2020.
