CEO and Founder of Odilo
Rodríguez is the CEO of Odilo, the first digital content-as-a-service (CaaS) edtech platform that he founded in 2011 whilst still working for BT Global Services in Madrid. The native of Cartagena, Murcia, also completed an internship in business development at Spain's Telefonica before spending five and a half years at BT. Rodríguez holds a master's in Science and Telecommunications Engineering from Madrid's Alfonso X El Sabio University.

Tian Yang was among the first batch of Alibaba's data product managers. The product director of Alibaba International was also the head of overseas marketing and customer operations for Taobao.com and created online retail service AliExpress.In January 2018, he joined former Alibaba colleagues Yang Renbin and Li Guibin to set up edtech platform Intelligent Learning in Hangzhou. He is now the COO of the math learning company.

Adriaan Landman is a Dutch entrepreneur who built his professional career around people, team management, business development, operations and process management. He spent most of his professional life in the media industry until he co-founded, Allread MLT in 2019. Allread MLT converts text, symbols and codes into Big Data using computer vision technology, character recognition and deep MLT. Landman is COO of Allread MLT and is responsible for strategy and operations.

CEO and founder of ScentRealm, Huang Jianwei worked at Alibaba from 2004 to 2011. In 2012, he founded ScentRealm and received seed funding from Wang Gang. He also tried to create a business around QR codes, then tried to build an internet finance business. The latter was a success for a while, but Huang decided to shut it down. In 2015, he pivoted the company to build ScentRealm.

Since its founding in 2016, it has launched several funds, including the $1bn Breakthrough Energy Ventures initial fund and a $100m European fund. The entity employs scientists and has a model available to startups to identify sustainability opportunities in the US grid. It currently has 30 startups in its portfolio across technologies and geographies. Among its most recent investments in early 2021 are the $11.5m Series A round of US low-emission hydrogen producer C-Zero and in the $50m Series B round of US sustainable metal producer Boston Metals. In January 2021, BEV also closed a new round of another $1 billion to invest in up to 50 startups. The round saw the addition participation of several new investors including Abigail Johnson, CEO of Fidelity Investments, Shopify founder Tobias Lütke, property developer John Sobrato, of CEO of hedge fund Baupost Group Seth Klarman, founder of Tableau Software Chris Stolte and Walmart heir Sam Walton.

Ardo Adiwidjaja followed his passion for the culinary arts by becoming a co-founder of BlackGarlic in 2015. Armed with over six years of project management and business development work experience, he is also the COO of BlackGarlic. Ardo has a degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He started his career as a trainee in 2009 at Voith Paper GmbH & Co and rose to become a manager before returning to Indonesia.

An insider and serial entrepreneur in the Chinese internet industry for more than a decade, Wu Yongjun graduated from Nanjing University, majoring in Computer Science. He founded/co-founded Hotlong Software, Huiyang Games Studio and 51yangzhao (a taxi service app) from 2000 to 2010. After graduating in 2012, he teamed up with fellow ITB alumnus Chrisna Aditya to establish an aquaculture tech firm PT Multidaya Teknologi Nusantara, aka Cybreed. In 2013, it launched eFishery, an automatic feeder system for aquaculture farms. In 2017, Gibran’s achievements earned him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of notable Asian figures.
