Founded in 2013, Sino-Ocean Capital is the investment arm of the Chinese real estate developer Sino-Ocean Group. It mainly invests in the sectors of big data, healthcare, logistics, environmental protection, real estate and finance. It currently manages RMB 50bn worth assets and $700m US dollar funds. The limited partners include insurance companies, large-sized enterprises and sovereign wealth funds.In 2019, Sino-Ocean Capital launched a RMB 3-5bn fund to acquire logistics properties and planned to invest RMB 48bn in logistics over the next five years. It also on the track to raise $1.5bn for its latest real estate fund to invest in offices in Beijing. 

Toyota Tsusho Corp is a multi-market, multi-business listed company, focusing on industrial raw materials, agricultural products and technology. It is part of the Toyota Group with over 150 offices and 900 subsidiaries and affiliates around the world. Its diverse businesses span across the industrial, commercial and consumer sectors.In 2018, Toyota Tsusho and Microsoft started a partnership to build fish-farming tools using AI, IoT technologies and Microsoft Azure applications for improved water management. It also became Zipline’s first business investor to help expand the Silicon Valley unicorn’s drone operations to deliver lifesaving medical supplies to remote parts of the world.

Founded in 2012 in Washington DC, Accion Venture Lab is a seed-stage investor in fintech for the underserved. Venture Lab is part of Accion, a not-for-profit global organization that works with financial service providers to deliver affordable solutions for unbanked and underbanked communities worldwide.Its portfolio includes 44 startups from 17 countries, ranging from Chile to Indonesia. Seed-stage startups normally get $500,000 funding per company. Investments in December 2020 included participation in the $1.5m seed round of Argentinian software development tech Henry and a financing round for Indonesian micro-credit fintech Pintech.

Visa is a US-based financial services company best known for its electronic payment system used worldwide for credit and debit cards. As the operator of the payment service, it also provides security and risk management solutions. It is listed in the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker code V.The firm prefers to invest and partner with innovative early-stage firms in the payments, fintech and emerging technology spaces to advance Visa's strategic and financial objectives. Some of its investments include Indonesian ride-hailing and payment super-app Gojek, cybersecurity firms MagicCube and LoginID, payment platforms Klarna and Flutterwave, as well as digital banking platform Greenwood Bank.

Microsoft is a US-based technology company that focuses on software products and services. Its Windows operating system is one of the most widely used in the world, and it is also a leader in the video games industry thanks to its Xbox video game platform. In the corporate world, it is best known for its Azure cloud computing services. It is one of the most valuable companies in the world alongside rival Apple, social media network Facebook, and internet giant Google. Microsoft is an active investor in the technology industry. It invests through its main business entity, as well as through subsidiaries such as M12, formerly known as Microsoft Ventures.

It currently has 22 companies in its portfolio.  Its most recent investments include in the June 2021 $85m Series C round of Portuguese home physiotherapy tech solution SWORD Health, the world’s fastest-growing musculoskeletal solution, and, the same month, in the $21m Series D round of Protenus, the US’ leading healthcare compliance analytics firm.

Founded by pioneering tech investor Ozi Amanat in 2015, K2 Global is a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley and Singapore. Amanat, who moved to Singapore in 2012, is one of Twitter’s early backers, raising $25m to invest in the social media startup that later went public in 2013. The Harvard graduate in psychology and economics also invested in Uber, Spotify and Alibaba during his career as a venture capitalist. Amanat is the chief investment officer of K2 VC, K2 Global and Singapore-based Spice Global controlled by Indian billionaire B K Modi.In 2017, K2 also announced a $183m VC fund focusing on early-stage startups that aim to address global challenges. The majority of K2 limited partners are based outside the US in countries like Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Former CEO of Kuaidi Dache, which merged with Didi Dache in 2015 to become China’s most powerful taxi hailing app service and a top10 internet company in the country. Dexter Lv was formerly based in Silicon Valley, heading SK Telecom’s wireless products unit.

Huazhu Hotel Group (NASDAQ: HTHT) is China’s first multi-brand hotel chain management group. It covers 360+ cities in China with 3,000+ hotels and 60,000+ staff. Huazhu is now one of the top 10 hotel groups on HOTEL’s annual hotel ranking.

Founded in 2013 by BYD co-founder Yang Longzhong, Hui Capital focuses on new energy, new materials, electronic information technology and artificial intelligence. It plays a role as the administrator of the National Development and Reform Commission’s emerging industry venture capital fund.

China Reform Capital Corporation, Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Reform Holdings Corporation, Ltd. It was established in August 2014 in Beijing and has registered capital RMB 10 billion. Its business includes equity investment, project investment, investment management, asset management and investment consulting.

Sinolink Securities, one of China’s first securities exchanges, was founded in 1990. Since 2013, its securities have been graded AA by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Sinolink Securities’ main focuses are securities, futures exchange and funds, but it also has an investment bank department.

GaochengVenture Capital is a new growth fund. A subsidiary of Hillhouse Capital, it was started by Hillhouse founding partner Hong Jing. She oversaw the company’s private equity business, strategizing and expanding its investments in multiple industries.

Reus Capital is a pledge fund focused on technology startups in the Catalan ecosystem. It was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Reus, Catalonia. To date, it has invested a total of €10 million in more than 20 startup companies.

Based in Shanghai, BA Capital focuses on investments in various consumer sectors. The VC, a subsidiary of Black Ant Group in Shenzhen, was founded in 2016 by three partners Chen Feng, He Yu and Zhang Peiyuan
