Headquartered in Madrid with satellite offices in Barcelona, London, Seattle and New York, Alma Mundi is a venture fund that aims to connect Spanish and Latin American entrepreneurs. Alma Mundi’s investments range between €500,000 and €5 million.Alma Mundi offers its investee companies direct access to a global network of investors and industry experts in leading technology ecosystems. Called the Mundi Club, the group comprises over 700 members from 41 cities worldwide. The group’s board members include advisers and executives from Merck, Havas, PepsiCo, Carrefour, Nestlé and HP. 

Lanai Partners is an angel investors group based in Barcelona.The network of investors was formed in 2016 by a group of Spanish business angels and backed by strong partners and entrepreneurs, such as Airbnb (Europe, Middle East and Africa) managing director Jeroen Merchiers, Viko Group president Rubén Ferreiro, Housell CEO Guillermo Llibre and SocialCar founder and CEO Mar Alarcón.Lanai Partners mainly invests in early-stage funding rounds with a maximum capital of €200,000 per startup and focusing on the SaaS, marketplace and digital health sectors.

Established in 2018, Jensen Group Investment Fund is the generalist investment fund of Danish entrepreneur Steen Ulf Jensen, founder of the Jensen Group, a global manufacturer of machines for the heavy-duty laundry industry based in Belgium. Jensen was also the CEO of Box TV and Digicel Cabel. The fund has so far invested in four startups with Jensen becoming board chairman at the investee companies. In 2020, the fund acquired stakes in the July €1.1m seed round of Danish alt-leather biotech Beyond Leather Materials and in the funding of Danish bike lock startup PentaLock earlier in March.

Winning (Shanghai) Investment Management was founded in 2015 with Winning (Shanghai) Asset Management as its controlling shareholder. It mainly invests in the sectors of healthcare, consumer goods, entertainment and sports, and advanced manufacturing. 

Guan Ke has nearly 20 years of work experience in the media industry. He was the general manager of Shenzhen Jusiwei Advertising Co Ltd. He was also a former stockholder of Shenzhen One Media Investment Holdings Limited. He founded QinLin Technology in Shenzhen in 2015.

ANGIN (Angel Investment Network Indonesia) is the first and largest network of angel investors in Indonesia. The funding and mentoring network comprises high net-worth individuals from diverse industry sectors, including venture capitalists, senior executives and celebrities. ANGIN also manages its own impact investment fund and a fund for women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Guo was named a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum in 2014 and was on Forbes’ 2017 30 Under 30 Asia list. A graduate of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, she has organized art exhibitions in countries such as Italy, Spain and Germany.

A former computer programmer turned investment banker, Liu Yuan spent two years on Wall Street before returning to China, where he founded two startups, zhekouwang (a discount information site) and ximi.com (online store selling snacks to office workers). Founded in 2015 by Beijing News, Beijing Culture Investment Development Group, among other funds, the Born For Maker program was renamed Shanshui Investment in April 2018 by Chairman of the Board Dai Zigeng, former publisher of Beijing News and CEO of Beijing Culture Investment Development Group. Wang Yuechun, former editor-in-chief of Beijing News, was named founder of Shanshui Investment. Born For Maker, an incubator program, holds an annual startup competition. In 2016, the program set up an investment fund.

Shenzhen Qianhai Xingwang Investment Co Ltd (Xingwang Investment) was founded in June 2015. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen and has offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Xingwang Investment has RMB 5 billion under management. It has established an investment fund with Ximalaya FM, China's largest audio sharing platform, to finance startups in the pay-for-knowledge sector.

With a computer engineering background, Zheng Junde was formerly general manager of Proxim Wireless Corporation in the US. Zheng has 30 years of working experience in the US, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and is now chairman of Ziztour and co-chairman of China Fortune Investment.

CGN Industrial Investment Fund Co., Ltd. was co-founded by China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. and China Three Gorges Corporation in Shenzhen in 2008. With over RMB 15 billion assets under management, the fund invests mainly in the sectors of nuclear power, solar power, forestry and mining.

Jeroen Merchiers is a Belgian executive based in Barcelona. He has led Airbnb EMEA expansion over the past six years and he is currently Managing Director for Airbnb in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A commercial engineer and executive MBA from the IESE Business School, Merchiers has over 10 years' experience in management consulting for international manufacturing and supply chain companies. He was COO at Groupalia He’s also an active angel investor. Standouts in his startup portfolio include: 21Buttons, Mr. Jeff and Trip4Real (sold to Airbnb). 

The IESE BAN was formed in 2003 by a group of angel investors and entrepreneurs bringing together both alumni and non-alumni of the IESE Business School. It creates and manages deal flow for investors while establishing synergies and collaboration among the network's members. It counts on more than 250 active investors financing technology startups in Madrid and Barcelona. To-date, IESE BAN has invested more than €50m in over 220 startups. It is also part of ACCIÓ’s Network of Private Investors, which fosters technology innovation and startups’ growth in Catalonia.

Chris Bouwer is a Barcelona-based angel investor, active in the Spanish tech ecosystem and known for backing startups including Delivery Hero, Fanly and Airhelp. More recently, he was the lead investor in a funding round by Polaroo, a mobile app that manages and automates household payments, as well as investing in Cobee, a compensation and benefits management SaaS. He’s currently Board Advisor in Cellulant, a financial service provider providing digital payments in Africa. Bouwer has a background in sales, with his last key position as VP of Sales (2007–2015) in Adyen, a Dutch PSP services fintech he co-founded.
