CEO and Co-founder of Kuaishou
Su Hua quit his PhD studies at China’s prestigious Tsinghua University. In 2006, he joined Google as an engineer working on ads search. In October 2008, he left Google and started over 33 projects but all failed.A year later, he joined Baidu and worked for over two years as a core engineer and team leader for its search engine marketing system Fengchao. He left Baidu to establish search engine startup One Box that was acquired by Alibaba.In June 2013, Su was introduced to Cheng Yixiao who had already founded GIF Kuaishou in 2011. They decided to join forces and pivot GIF Kuaishou into a video-sharing app, with Su as CEO and Cheng as CPO.

Andrea Barber is the Spanish co-founder and CEO of RatedPower, which produces software to automate the design of solar power plants. She has worked there since 2017. She is simultaneously co-founder and podcaster at Vostok 6, a Spanish podcast about women in business. Prior to RatedPower, Andrea spent six years working in business development at renewable energy company Solida, based largely in Brazil and Chile, where she had the idea for her later startup. She also spent time in Brazil at the Spanish Chamber of Business and Industry, and at Henkel in San Francisco, working in business intelligence and marketing. She holds a degree in Business Management from Carlos III University of Madrid.

Max Rye graduated in computer science at the University of California, Davis, in 2001. Currently based in Berkeley, Rye has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. He was the CEO of Royal IT from 2003 to 2018 in California. He was also a senior information technology specialist at Mahler Enterprises from 2011 to 2018.In 2019, he set up TurtleTree Labs in Singapore with Lin Fengru whom he had previously met at a Google conference. He became the CTO of TurtleTree Labs with Lin as CEO. In January 2020, he was appointed chief strategist based at the company’s office in San Francisco. In December 2020, he and Lin also co-founded TurtleTree Scientific in Singapore.

Prior to co-founding Uniplaces in 2011, he was a biotech analyst at KBC Peel Hunt and a business analyst at SRC Oxford. He was also an associate at private equity firm HIG Capital for a year and founded NACUE, the UK’s leading membership organization for engaging students in enterprise. Grech is British and is also the founder of Nottingham Entrepreneurs in 2007 which he also presided over until 2009. He was CEO at Uniplaces until 2018 when he left the post and became Non-Executive Chairman.

Hilman Fajrian started learning how to code at the age of six. By the time he reached high school, he was earning money writing software for local businesses in Balikpapan in the East Kalimantan province. He decided to read Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, but during his time in university he also ran a software development house. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he returned to East Kalimantan and worked for a local newspaper before starting his own in 2006. Between 2006 and 2017, Hilman also founded a digital marketing company catering to local businesses and briefly worked as a big data consultant for PLN, Indonesia's state-owned power company. He exited all his roles in late 2017 to begin work on Arkademi, a new Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) platform.

He is the son of the inventor of the technology, Sergio Rico Velasco, and was instrumental in positioning the product’s use from residual waste water treatment to agritech. Rico previously worked in a private school, Indo-American College, in Tlalnepantla in the State of Mexico City as a systems administrator.
