Founded in 1940 by Juan Soler Güell, Quadis is one of the biggest car wholesalers in Spain. Quadis is managed by grandsons Pol and Lluís Soler who have been reinventing and diversifying the family business through investments in emerging automotive technology for electric and hybrid vehicles. The privately owned company has recently backed Wallbox Chargers which designs and manufactures EV chargers that can be remotely managed through mobile apps.

Central Capital Ventura is backed by Bank Central Asia (BCA), one of Indonesia's largest banks. The venture capital firm is focused on identifying and investing in fintech and other technologies that can potentially support BCA's own businesses and service ecosystem. Central Capital Venture has backed Indonesian microlending company JULO and Singapore payments processing company Wallex. CMB International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Bank. It has two private equity funds. The first, based in Shenzhen, was founded in 2017, and the second, based in Hong Kong, was founded in 2010. CMB International's Shenzhen division invests in the internet, healthcare, automobile, new energy and consumption sectors.

NUMA is a Paris-based innovation hub with offices in New York, Berlin, Moscow, Barcelona, Mexico City, Casablanca in Morocco and Bengalaru, India. Volkswagen Group China is a division of German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen Group. Volkswagen Group China produces, sells and services cars, engines and transmission systems, as well as other parts and components. It runs more than 2,000 authorized dealerships and has 360,000 dealers on staff. Volkswagen Group China and its joint-venture companies plan to invest €15 billion by 2020 in developing autonomous and new energy vehicles.

InvestIdea Ventures is an Indonesia-focused venture capital firm. It invests in early stage web and mobile-based companies, providing funding, advice and networking support. Founded in 2011, InvestIdea has been selective in building its portfolio, having invested in only six companies so far. Among its portfolio companies are language education platform Cakap (formerly Squline), healthcare platform Halodoc (which was co-founded by one of InvestIdea's partners) and online brochure maker IMOOJI.

Founded in 1995, Shenzhen Sunrise New Energy Co. Ltd., formerly known as Shenzhen Rainbow Fine Chemical Industry Co. Ltd., was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008. Its main lines of business include Lithium-ion battery, photovoltaic power generation and New Energy bus operation. In 2016, it set up a fund to invest in autonomous driving, wireless charging, advanced parking management, artificial intelligence and robotics sectors.

Zriser Group is a Valencia-based family office fund started in 2007 by Ana and Pablo Serratosa Luján as a way to diversify their family investment strategy. The decision led to a diversified asset management scheme previously based on corporate acquisitions, then to a diversified portfolio of business and real estate investments.The firm has invested to date in eight tech-startups in the Spanish ecosystem.

Lighthouse Capital is a boutique investment bank established in 2014. The firm has helped to raise finance for over 75 companies, completing more than 120 private funding deals worth over $11bn in total. Its portfolio of companies is valued at over $100bn, including 19 with unicorn status.Lighthouse Capital also manages four PE funds, worth $250bn, targeted at companies in the growth and later stages in emerging sectors.

Deutsche Telekom is Germany's largest telecoms company, with operations in over 50 countries and more than 178 million mobile customers. It is a major investor in tech companies and has managed more than 20 investments and seven acquisitions to date. Its most well-known acquisition is teleco operator T-Mobile for €828m in 2014. Recent investments include HypeLabs' US$3m seed round and the €6m Series A round of automated IoT platform Axonise.

RWA Invest GmbH is the wholesale company and service provider of the Raiffeisen Lagerhaus cooperatives, with over 1,000 distribution points and more than 120,000 cooperative members.The company also launched the Agro Innovation Lab (AIL) acceleration program focused on taking a leading role in cutting-edge technologies and innovation for agritech companies in the European region. The second cohort will involve activities in Austria and Germany.

BASF Venture Capital is the investment arm of the BASF Group. Founded in 2001, the VC also has offices in Ludwigshafen, San Francisco, Boston, Austin, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Mumbai and Tel Aviv.Global investments include stakes in young, fast-growing companies involved in agritech, chemistry, new materials, sustainability, digitalization and disruptive business models. The firm also holds shares in technology funds that target enterprises in Asia, North America and South America.

Co-founded by Alibaba founder Jack Ma and Target Media founder David Yu in 2010, YF Capital focuses on the internet, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, financial services, logistics and consumer sectors. Its Chinese name “Yunfeng” combines the first names of Jack Ma (Ma Yun) and David Yu (Yu Feng). Headquartered in Shanghai, it also has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Hangzhou and other Chinese cities; and manages both USD- and RMB-denominated and funds.

Bristol Myers Squibb or BMS is one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies developing medicines in oncology, hematology, immunology and cardiovascular disease. It invests directly and via VC funds, including Life Sciences Partners (LSP) and BioGeneration Ventures, as LP. BMS is headquartered in New York and has 10 offices and facilities within the US and 13 in overseas locations, namely, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Japan and China. 

GGV Capital manages $3.8 billion across eight funds, making multi-stage investments in companies from mobile internet, hardware, cloud technology and SaaS sectors. Among them, 27 GGV-invested companies have completed IPOs in the last 10 years. Its portfolio features a wide range of companies, such as Alibaba, AirBnb, Qunar, YY, Didi, Soundcloud, slack, Youku Tudou and more. Founded in 2000, the firm deploys a single team operating in both China and the US.
