Co-founder and CPO of Billin
As the co-founder and CPO of Billin, Diego Goya Quijano is responsible for the IT team, business and funding strategies. After graduating in Business Administration at CUNEF in 2010, he studied English for a year in California, USA. His first entrepreneurial venture was in 2009 when he co-founded Deyese Soluciones (D+S), a company specializing in cost optimization. He then worked at Smartgroup Telecomunicaciones for almost two years before co-founding Billin in 2013. He has since attended various courses relating to Venture Capital, M&A and Financing Operations at IEB. He then specialized in web development at Ironhack.

Co-founder, CEO of UpHill
Freire Rodrigues is the Portuguese co-founder and CEO at UpHill, whose SaaS helps healthcare professionals keep up-to-speed on the latest clinical treatments and protocols using AI. He also continues to be an invited assistant teacher at Lisbon’s NOVA Medical School’s Faculty of Medical Sciences, where he completed a master’s in Medicine and worked full-time for three years prior to UpHill. He additionally collaborates in public healthcare at the ARSLVT healthcare company in Lisbon. He has worked as a resident physician at public hospitals in Lisbon and Paris.Freire Rodrigues also completed clinical scholars research training at Harvard Medical School and gained a qualification in Information Management and Business Intelligence in Healthcare at NOVA Information Management School in Lisbon.

Cheng Yixiao began his career as a software engineer at HP in Dalian where he met Kuaishou co-founder Yang Yuanxi. Cheng left HP to join Renren as an iPhone client software developer.In 2011, Cheng started a photo-sharing platform GIF Kuaishou and obtained some seed funding. In 2013, he was introduced to a successful entrepreneur Su Hua. They decided to pivot GIF Kuaishou into a video-sharing app, with Cheng as CPO and Su as CEO.Many believe that his earlier experiences of living in Tieling, a county in northeast China, and later in Beijing’s suburb Tiantongyuan, have helped him to identify business opportunities and develop social media tools for the grassroots. He has quite a reputation for his creativity and passion for product development in tech circles.

He is simultaneously director and co-founder at engineering consultancy Optimise, based in London and Dubai, where he has worked since 2012 and where the concept for Modulous was conceived. Prior to these, Bone was CEO at engineering company Bone Steel from 2008-10, founder and director at Globalsport from 2005-8, and founder and managing director at Safe Consulting, part of engineering consultancy WhitbyBird from 1999-2004. His experience has included working on major projects, including Wembley Stadium, BBC Broadcasting House and the Royal Ballet School, as well as designing a process for automating fire protection for steel buildings.
